All claims that Kibbutz shomrat was founded on lands of al-Manshiyya or " incorporated some land from al-Sumayriyya" are lies and this is also contradicted in your articles and maps about these places: Kibbutz shomrat isn't even on the map of al-Sumayriyya whos graveyard could be seen near Regba and it wasn't some huge village. As for al-Manshiyya , that belonged to the Ottomans and their bahai faith who still have their shrine next to the kibbutz but are definitely not Palestinians. (And again a map that isn't anywhere close to Shomrat.
As person who grew up in Shomrat and knows the real history and was left-wing for many years , this whole farce puts in question a lot of the claims made by Palestinians regarding 1948 and the consequences of the war they've started back then.
The boundary between the village lands of Manshiyya and Sumeiriya passed right through the built-up area of Shomrat. Incidentally, Wikipedia is very rich and doesn't need your donation. Zerotalk10:59, 1 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I believe this should be called "Shamrat", this is also reflected in the nikkud in the hebrew name in the first line of the article. Cumulus (talk) 09:11, 8 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
