Died outside "Hard Times" in Leeds?
[edit]I read a comment on YouTube that the spot where she was killed was just outside Hard Times. There is such a club in Leeds, so I suspect that is where it happened. Would anyone be able to check some local newspapers to verify this? __meco (talk) 15:04, 3 August 2009 (UTC)
Name
[edit]I'm a little confused here. The article is entitled "Shiva (singer)", which suggests that her stage name was Shiva, but the first line reads "Louise Dean was a singer for the dance band Shiva", which suggests that the band was called Shiva. Which is correct? If the former, then the first line needs to be changed. If the latter, then the title needs to be changed to "Louise Dean". -- Necrothesp (talk) 14:17, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
- I agree, and eight years later we're still confused it seems. I think the band were called Shiva. Dean was probably the member with the highest profile, sadly, I fear because of her tragic death, which I seem to recall was reported widely in media at the time. I'm going to make an executive decision and move this page to Louise Dean, with Shiva as a redirect. I'm wondering what happened to the other members. Did they continue as Shiva afterwards? Did they join other projects? Perhaps someone with a better knowledge of House music than I could help here. This is Paul (talk) 15:06, 10 October 2017 (UTC)

- 5x expansion has been done, sources check out, QPQ completed too. Only minor gripe is that the hook is rather vague but everything looks okay otherwise. Cheers, KINGofLETTUCE 👑 🥬 13:06, 1 May 2024 (UTC)
- @Launchballer and Kingoflettuce: I'm not sure that bands can be described as having "careers", or that "an accident" is an appropriate way to describe a fatal hit-and-run. ~~ AirshipJungleman29 (talk) 20:03, 19 May 2024 (UTC)
