About the first name
[edit]Although many press sources refer to Shishi as Sergey (like here) the official portal of the Japan Sumo Association calls him Serhii, another possible translation of his name in Cyrillic (from what I understand). The article has therefore been standardised to Serhii. - OtharLuin (talk) 13:16, 3 August 2023 (UTC)

Change of name
[edit]I noticed that the article had been renamed in the wrong way. According to WP:JTITLE we must use the name by which the person is best known in relatable sources, in the press he is always called Shishi not Masaru. In addition, WP:SUMO standardizes its article names with the Japanese formulation family name + given name. I tried to undo the change but the page seems to refuse the reversal. - OtharLuin (talk) 13:32, 7 March 2024 (UTC)
