The name of the mine

[edit]

The name 'Unperspective' does not seem to render the joke. The Russian word «Бесперспективная» means that you won't be able to find anything substantial in the mine, it's no worth exploring (the joke is that people 1: explored it anyway and 2: found the diamond). I searched my English dictionary and it seems that the word 'perspective' means quite a different thing than «перспективный» (~ 'one that likely will do good in the future'), and the word 'unperspective' doesn't exist at all (while the adjective «бесперспективный» is used quite often and means that no good can be expected from the thing). — 95.55.118.28 (talk) 12:39, 6 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

"перспективный" is "promising", so "бесперспективный" could mean "unpromising". Xakepxakep (talk) 20:32, 11 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Soviet Militsiya

[edit]

Besides, the action of the film obviously took place after 1991, and at that time there was no Soviet Militsiya because there were no Soviets. It is Militsiya tout court ;) - 95.55.118.28 (talk) 12:48, 6 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
