Some years ago after not long moving here I joined the Shirebrook Heritage Group. Whilst in the group I made friends with one of the ladies in the group who showed me around Birley Spa and and with my husband we was shown around Shirebrook Valley. I said we had got the complete set of Deeds to our propery that included details if Lord Manvers who owned the land our bungalow was built on and a list of previous owners and drawings of rhe changes that had been made to the property. The contents of the box (a lever arch file) is very interesting to anyone interested in local history and is extremely important to the owners ie us if the property. I offered to
loan it to one of the ladies who accepted the offer. Unfortunately I cannot remember the name of the lady I loaned the box to. In 2012 I became a Governor for Sheffield Teaching Hospitals and became very busy and forgot about the box. It is only through sorting things out I cannot find the box. The property was called The Bungalow which we changed the name to “Studfield” 4 Birley Moor Avenue, Sheffield S12 3AQ via the council and the Land Registry etc. It is now uegent that we get the box back as it clearly belongs to the house as it contains all the original Deeds to our property. If anyone can help please contact Mrs Joyce Justice 07869017117. Any help is much appreciated Joydav39 (talk) 21:58, 21 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
