Shropshire?

I think the reference to the Shire being an informal name for Shropshire should be removed, as it is also used as an informal name for many other counties in England, its neighbour Herefordshire being one example —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.109.136.54 (talk) 15:04, 25 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
