[edit]"This article is about the Kansas City, Missouri, band. There is no article on the Dunedin, New Zealand, folk band of the same name." I believe this needs some cleanup. Soccrmastr (talk) 21:09, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
They might be notable enough for their own article; hard to tell. [1] That comment was just added a day or two ago, probably worth asking the editor if he plans to make them an article. Chubbles (talk) 21:17, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
- It's a possibility, but there may in fact be notability issues. I listed the Dunedin NZ band in the New Zealand section of List of folk musicians and marked it as linked with a view to a future article, and this brings it to this page, which is why I added the comment here. Shiner (Dunedin) would certainly warrant a mention on a page on NZ folk music, and I have recently started working on one. Once done, I can link to it from the list page, and come back and put in a disambiguation comment with an actual link here. I don't know if you feel this warrants restoring my comment, but I'm quite happy to leave the decision in your hands. Koro Neil (talk) 13:52, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
Changed tense for new album release, included postponed touring and added two more references. Top pocket man (talk) 16:15, 15 June 2020 (UTC)
