Notability established

[edit]

The section "external links" cites independent sources. Therefore I am removing the "unsourced" tag. Also, that makes the subject notable. I am removing the "importance" tag. Sorted as part of the Notability Wikiproject. --B. Wolterding 12:08, 18 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Neither of the external links had any content which could be used to source the statements made in the article - both pages contained only text which referred to mixed-breed dogs in general. For reference, the links were:
http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/shihpoo.htm
http://www.akc.org/breeds/mixed_breeds.cfm
Neither page contains any textual content specific to the Shih-poo. Please check links before assuming they're sources! Zetawoof(ζ) 18:51, 18 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

i thought you spell it "Shipoo", not "Shihpoo"12.216.165.50 16:42, 8 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Three generations of my family have referred to senor Lucas McDookas as a "Poo-Shih(t)" pronounced "pooshit", not unlike the song "Push it", by Salt-n-Peppa. This is possibly derived from a phonetical likeness to "push-it" or the fact that the lyrics say to "push it real good" in reference to the general consensus is that Luke is in fact himself, real good. --184.6.150.95 (talk) 00:13, 25 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This article is subject to a lot of "the photo of my dog is better, so I am giving it the most prominent position". Usually, the image isn't any better. Please desist from rearranging the article to give prominence to your own pet. Upload your images to the Commons. Thanks. Skeezix1000 (talk) 13:01, 8 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Tear Stains

[edit]

Should tear stains be mentioned? This is a trait commonly seen in poodles and shih-tzus, and thus also occurring in the eyes of Shih-poos. -- AlexanderHovanec (talk) 01:55, 6 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
