Mizuki's handed-ness
[edit]Greetings,
I have been trying, and failing, to find any sources that discuss Mizuki being left-handed prior to his unfortunate injury. Virtually every source I've found seems to be derived from some version of this wikipedia page. So--does anyone have anything concrete, site-able, regarding Mizuki's handed-ness? Notice it's not mentioned at all in Dreamland Japan, which is the biggest profile on Mizuki in English to date. Seanmercy (talk) 09:26, 30 June 2011 (UTC)
A friend who is a well-known manga writer and fluent Japanese reader has searched the Japanese language web for me and has found no discussion of this at all. As it is a rather extraordinary claim, I've eliminated it for now--if someone finds a good reference we can always reinsert it.

During a panel at the Angoulême Festival in 2022, Mizuki's eldest daughter confirmed he was right-handed. Furthermore, Mizuki's autobiographical works (notably Showa: A History of Japan) always show him as right-handed, like on p448 of the first volume (shown painting), p466 (shown drawing), and many occurrences where Mizuki is shown using his right hand for precision activities (using chopsticks, using cissors, using a hammer or his butterfly-catching net). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A01:E34:EC72:E9E0:8D81:528E:FE51:37B0 (talk) 08:07, 30 March 2022 (UTC)

Bakeichōnosei
[edit]I'm new to the career of this artist, and the section on Bakeichōnosei wasn't clear. Is it a book? Or a series? When did he create it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ferretface99 (talk • contribs) 14:34, 27 December 2020 (UTC)
