[edit]Sheraton has properties all over the world. While the section about South Korea may be factually accurate, it is potentially misleading to have only one country listed. 211.189.15.161 (talk) 04:23, 24 April 2013 (UTC)

Break down article
[edit]Can we break down the article? As it seems to majority of the page just has the list of hotels. It was me who filled in the info-box, but I could hardly put any of the information in because it was not stated. I suggest we put all of the hotels into one big list on a new page, like: List of Sheraton Hotels or something like that, and expand the article as there will only be lie two lines of information. Thanks, --Kilo-Lima 16:52, 30 October 2005 (UTC)
- I've factored the list and merged the main article to Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide (there wasn't really any content besides the list anyway). —Quarl (talk) 2006-01-18 12:44Z
I have deleted the following matter in para two "(this claim is also made by competitor Hilton Hotels).". This is because the Hilton website clearly states that they were listed on the NYSE in 1946 whereas Sheraton Hotels were listed in 1945.gr8quizzer 09:35, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Sheraton transparent.gif
[edit]Image:Sheraton transparent.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 16:05, 4 June 2007 (UTC)

Too many images
[edit]Do we really need all these images? They stack up and mess up the format. I was going to put them all in a gallery but they don't seem to meet the criteria for inclusion. Rees11 (talk) 21:45, 11 January 2010 (UTC)

Investor Ben Mallah to sell several hotels Covid closure or forced sales in the hotel business
[edit]“It’s almost a miracle this hotel sold. We needed to stop the bleeding,” Mallah said, stating he has been losing roughly $1 million every month on the hotel due to the lack of activity caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
“I’m lucky to break even and get off this rollercoaster ride on I-Drive,” he said. Investor Ben Mallah to sell several hotels - Tampa Bay Timeshttps://www.tampabay.com › News › Business Jun 11, 2021 — Mallah is selling two hotels near Tampa International, including the Four Points by Sheraton Suites Tampa Airport Westshore and the Holiday Inn.[1]Mallah said he made the decision to sell several of his hotels after more than a year of “bleeding” money to keep them open. To maintain the hotels, he had to spend about $200,000 a month per hotel — losing hundreds of thousands a month with no end. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 200.124.226.238 (talk) 16:31, 23 July 2022 (UTC) Local investor Ben Mallah sells Orlando hotel near Universal Studios in $31 Million dollat deal USD.. Local real estate investor Ben Mallah has sold his Four Points by Sheraton Orlando International Drive hotel in a $31 million deal.
Mallah, who is a manager of Largo-based Equity Management Partners and owns multiple hotels and properties, told the St. Pete Catalyst he sold the hotel at 5905 International Drive for $31 million on Aug. 24.
The Sheraton hotel on I-Drive is widely recognized by its tall tower design with a globe on its roof.Mallah purchased the Sheraton Orlando International Drive in 2016 for roughly $23 million. He then funneled $6 million worth of improvements into the property.
Mallah couldn’t provide details on the buying entity and Orange County public records are not yet available on the sale of the property.
“There aren’t any flights coming in and the pandemic is getting worse. I don’t expect the market to change any time soon,” he said.
Mallah said not only did the pandemic cause the business activity to fall into a downward spiral–especially as Orlando largely attracts international visitors from Dubai and Brazil–but the growing and emerging competition of surrounding hotels have added more salt to the wound.
I-Drive is widely known for its large number of hotels and is home to the convention center and theme parks.
