[edit]This claim is wholly inaccurate, according to sources it was very busy after WW2, and in the 1950s and again in the 60s the mill had a considerable refit to more-or-less its current configuration. By the 1970s it was producing in the region of 1000 tons per day and was quite active well into the 80s.
