I am working on reviewing my QPQ
Created by HouseOfChange (talk). Self-nominated at 05:16, 18 February 2024 (UTC). Post-promotion hook changes for this nom will be logged at Template talk:Did you know nominations/Shelton Tappes; consider watching this nomination, if it is successful, until the hook appears on the Main Page.
- @HouseOfChange: Have you completed the QPQ? Z1720 (talk) 02:38, 1 March 2024 (UTC)
- @Z1720: Yes, long ago! I forgot to put it here. HouseOfChange (talk) 04:57, 1 March 2024 (UTC)
- Full review needed now that QPQ has been provided. BlueMoonset (talk) 01:15, 19 March 2024 (UTC)

- The article is new enough (nominated within 6 days of creation), long enough (3557 characters). Well sourced (including university press and academic journals) though there are actually probably too many direct quotes in the footnotes (!) which probably should be pared down at some point. Earwig says copyvio unlikely and spotcheck with one of the Google Books appears to suggest there isn't a problem. QPQ is done. Both hooks check out, except the fact that Shelton Tappes was a foundryman doesn't appear in the main article body, only in the footnotes. @HouseOfChange: Could you please fix that? (This is the problem when you overinvest in the footnotes; it's easy to forget that there are important points worth calling out in the article itself.) Cielquiparle (talk) 05:58, 19 March 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for the heads up, @Cielquiparle:; I believe I have fixed this by adding more about Tappes working in the giant (60 acre) foundry at the River Rouge plant. 22:58, 20 March 2024 (UTC)
- Approve both ALT hooks. Cielquiparle (talk) 06:22, 21 March 2024 (UTC)
