the link for Mantra is definitely not Shelter's album.

There really is no page for it either. This is kind of a neglected article. CharlieP216

The "years active" infobox shows Shelter starting in 1991, but the release date on the No Compromise 7-inch indicates they were active at least as early as 1990. Furthermore, in the Hold Steady song "Barely Breathing," the lyrics suggest the singer saw Shelter live in 1989 at the 7th Street Entry in Minneapolis. I'm suggesting years active should begin with at least 1990, if not 1989. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.146.155.193 (talk) 19:38, 9 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The band seems to have split in 2006 [1] and just reformed for a few months during 2018 for some gigs.

There is another band Shelter now, in UK [2], who don't yet have a page, but the title of this one would usefully pave the way for this to be created, e.g. Shelter (US band)? — Preceding unsigned comment added by O87r34tr813 (talkcontribs) 22:19, 29 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
