Reviewer: Vaughan Pratt (talk · contribs) 07:41, 10 November 2011 (UTC) As an obvious fan of Shellsort (the topic of my PhD thesis in 1971) I really wish I had the time to review this. Unfortunately it's going to be a while due to several prior commitments in areas unrelated to computer science.
The one thing I can say at this time is that Marcin Ciura does exercise due care in his judgements, which right there puts him in the sort of minority that you can take seriously. I've seen a lot of rubbish published in quality journals that is below his standards. --Vaughan Pratt (talk) 07:41, 10 November 2011 (UTC)
Failed. The article is riddled with uncited claims (see the no original research policy for details) as well as entire unreferenced sections (including a {{Citation needed}} tag in the lead); the sources themselves are OK and are of good quality, but virtually every claim made needs to be backed with reliable sources. Moreover, the prose also needs improvement across the board, in which a good copyedit for cohesion and prose quality are needed. Please work on getting everything sourced and the prose improved before renominating for GA again. Regards, –MuZemike 23:59, 6 December 2011 (UTC)
