To-do List
create animation series infobox- rewrite of some of the plot, characters section to be a li'l more cri/analytical; (cf. Dexter's Laboratoy, Powerpuff Girls)
- add the following info.
- main part of show is sitcom format
- plot: sheep's life in the city, romance with swanky and evading capture by general specific
show also has sketches: spoofs of commercials, other tv programs, interstitial shorts, stand-ups and live acts- narrator on-screen, there are sketches abt him, sometimes figures in the main plot
- sheep is everyman: raised in a country farm, flees from that life (mostly coz of farmer john?) to the big city, has to come to terms with life in the big city: keep job, find a social life, romance, escape the attentions of a host of unpleasant characters: gen. specific and his secret military organisation, lisa rental, lady richington, farmer john.
- parodies of time travel, superheroes, disaster movies, charlie chaplin style movies
- comic references to television/movie production process
- satires of farmer john's new age, pop psychology, self help mantras, christmas, popular culture (celebrities, marketing), general specific's business management (downsizing, ), elections
- addesses a more mature audience: satire,
parody, literal gags, - episode list and synopses
- identify angry scientist's foreign accent
add links to mo willems site, sheep episode guide, imdb- use willem's quote
Mo Willem's on how Sheep... is relates to his other work.Kidscreen Magazine, May 2000."He's a loner, he's an alien, he's on the outside. The sense of not belonging and trying to figure out your way in the world is something that almost all of my shows have to do with."
- use more material at kidscreen.
- Fix the description of The Buffoons. I've never seen the show, but their description currently says "All three of them are dressed only in shoes and underwear, two of them also wear hats." If all three are dressed only in shoes and underwear, none of them can be wearing hats. I assume that two of them actually do - could it be accurately updated to say "All three are dressed in shoes and underwear. Two of them also wear hats, but no additional clothing is in evidence."? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.124.76.174 (talk) 22:29, 25 January 2010 (UTC)
Trailer
I remember that, as a promo for the show's premiere, Cartoon Network ran a trailer for "sheep," humorously protraying it as a serious, live action series. Can anyone track down info on this?
- I recall that as well. Not exactly sure where info on it can be found, though.

Oxymoron Commercials
IIRC, each one ended with the trademark jingle, and then the ox would "moo". It would be interesting to expand on that section of the article.

I found url's to it, but iTunes said it was not currently available in the US. (arrgh!) :( Maybe you can use that loophole where you buy cards from another country? - C360
I've heard that it has been taken off iTunes. Don't know why. It was only available in the U.S. iTunes, and then only the first season. A lot of episodes are on YouTube now though. Milstrom 22:40, 18 July 2007 (UTC)

Funny quotes
The Angry Scientist
- (Finishing his plan to capture Sheep) "And, then, I GRAB him.... with this net!" *The Angry Scientist shows a net that is no bigger than Sheep's nose*
- (Repeated line, mostly because he gets called "The Mad Scientist" and he jumps while saying this line.) I am NOT the Mad Scientist! I am ANGURY! The Angury Scientist!
- I am going thinking of a way to get the Sheepness (The way he refers to Sheep) into our trapnessnessness.

Term Confusion
Article uses the term "breaking the fourth wall" instead of "Breaking character". A fourth wall only means the audience is being acknowledged. Admitting their is a script has nothing to do with the fourth wall, that is breaking character. The narrator telling the audience to go with it, is correctly both breaking character and breaking the fourth wall. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.171.176.105 (talk) 22:22, 6 February 2013 (UTC)
