Objection to speedy deletion

[edit]

Prior to the speedy request, I had moved the article now at Shazam (character) to its present location from its former location here (Shazam (comics)) as "Shazam (comics)" was easily ambiguous with the comic strip itself (i.e. Shazam!). "(character)" is an unambiguous disambiguator in this case, whereas "(comics)" would not be, hence the recent move should not be undone as the speedy deletion is proposing. --Cybercobra (talk) 22:52, 15 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Why not rename the article Shazam (wizard) and avoid all ambiguity? Until I looked, I had forgotten that Captain Marvel was the superhero and Shazam was the wizard. (What can I say? I wasted my youth reading MAD magazine instead of comic books.) — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 04:22, 16 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
