Wrong Coordinates from Seymour-Johnson AFB

[edit]

The given coordinates link to the Seymour-Johnson AFB in the south of Goldsboro, North Carolina. Could someone please fix it?

Immediate correction requested: Shaw is not a joint service base

[edit]

Good morning,   Shaw Air Force Base is not categorized as a joint base. Third Army/ARCENT is simply a tenant unit on the base. Can you please remove all references to "Joint Base Shaw, JB Shaw" and replace them with "Shaw Air Force Base, Shaw AFB"? Thanks!   20th Fighter Wing Public Affairs 166.137.12.134 (talk) 11:33, 14 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

References and accuracy

[edit]

The section on the 4411th CCTG cites Ravenstein. He does not mention the group. Moreover, the group was not inactivated in 1963, it continued at Shaw until 1969 (see Mueller, p. 532). In addition the resources of the 837th Air Division (also mentioned in this section) did not transfer to the 363d Wing, but were used primarily to form the USAF Tactical Air Reconnaissance Center, which activated the same day the 837th inactivated. (again, see Mueller, p. 533).

References to Manning, Martin, Mueller, Ravenstein, Rogers, Shaw lack page numbers.

Reference to Baugher is to a dead link. This also appears to be referenced more than one way. (see comment on Shaw AFB site below. Cannot verify because of dead link).

References are in a peculiar format. There appears to be an attempt to link some, but the links are not correct. Use of the cite book and cite web templates could help in this area.

The FAA master record is not current

"Shaw Air Force Base official web site"; "Shaw AFB website"; and "Shaw AFB, public website" all link to the same page, and none of the links contains full information on the site. --Lineagegeek (talk) 20:57, 5 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

All edits from 209.22.107.138 are NOT to be trusted, vadilism, saying the base has an UNDERGROUND railway, that is hunted. But to be honest i'm to lazy to fix all of it. Please review his edits, feel free to remove this entry if you do so. Alex at kms (talk) 23:47, 21 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
