Death
[edit]Sharon Redd's actual death is not confirmed anywhere. She may have died a staph infection, AIDS, or any number of other things. I do believe she is dead although this is the closest I have come to a certain date. RIP. Diizy (talk) 06:53, 6 January 2009 (UTC)
- I'll add a citation from Dance Music Report. It doesn't give a date but says she died "due to AIDS". —mjb (talk) 00:01, 23 April 2009 (UTC
The picture is a pic of early 1980s Dance Singer Sharon Brown, not Sharon Redd. Sharon Brown had the big 1982 hit "I specialize in love". Please take this pic down.
- I have replaced the image. Dubmill (talk) 11:13, 17 January 2013 (UTC)
- I have now removed the image (the one of Sharon Redd from http://discovideomix.com/videos/sharonredd.html) until such time as the copyright issues are clarified. Dubmill (talk) 14:14, 17 January 2013 (UTC)
There's something funny here. She died in 1992, and in 1993 she dropped the 'e' from her name and released a new album. So there is life after death. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sloot-wiki (talk • contribs) 18:36, 28 April 2016 (UTC)
Bisexual or lesbian?
[edit]Is it true that Sharon Redd was bisexual or lesbian? There's not much biographical information about her out there. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.162.251.171 (talk) 05:54, 26 March 2011 (UTC)
