List of "sharks"
There is no need for a special list of the panel members (sharks) as they are all mentioned in the lead, in the info box and again in the History section and most of them have wikilinks to their own Wikipedia pages. Also WP:MOS prefers prose not lists and creating a list gives undue weight per WP:UNDUE. This article is about the show not about the panel members. Yes they are part of the show and are mentioned three times in the article but they should not be made a major feature of this article. Their background and business ventures belong in their own WP articles. -- — Keithbob • Talk • 19:09, 5 April 2013 (UTC)
Comments
I think the (yes)s on the episode summaries should be removed. It is like a spoiler. If anything, we should have a seperate section for the results. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.141.49.111 (talk) 02:47, 25 November 2009 (UTC)
- As per WP:SPOILER, spoilers are not recognized on Wikipedia.67.174.66.112 (talk) 20:13, 18 May 2013 (UTC)

- I'm sorry but I don't know much about Wiki and how it works plus I don't have refrences or any sort of stuff like that.206.9.101.200 (talk) 04:04, 11 August 2009 (UTC)
- that doesnt really matter. just edit the article the same way that you edit this talkpage. WP:BOLD allows you to put in information and then i can help you with references. User:Smith Jones 15:41, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

TV by the Numbers
TV by the Numbers is a personal web cite of two men. It is cited several times in this article and per WP:RS it is not a reliable source and I'd like to remove it. Any objections?
- TV by the Numbers launched in September 2007. The site was founded and is run by Bill Gorman and Robert Seidman, who have been friends since the early 1990s. [1] -- — Keithbob • Talk • 13:45, 8 April 2013 (UTC)
- it is used as a source in most of the TV show articles. Based upon what I have seen through their site quite a bit of their "numbers" and ratings and Predictions come from this webpage: http://tvseriesfinale.com/ In some cases the webpage is even directed to articles on tvseriesfinale's website. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.112.45.226 (talk) 05:25, 9 April 2013 (UTC)
- Have you visited the site? They collect and report TV ratings from Nielsen Media JayJayWhat did I do? 01:43, 6 May 2013 (UTC)
- Yes, I've been to the TVbyNumbers web site and I'm not questioning their data (it may or may not be accurate) it does not meet the standards of WP:RS as it is not award winning or recognized and does not have a proper editorial staff or any accountability. Since others may disagree, I've started a thread here at WP:RSN and asked for outside input.-- — Keithbob • Talk • 18:19, 15 May 2013 (UTC)
- The sentiment at RSN is that TVBN is now run by a reputable organization and is generally considered reliable. So for the time being, I am OK with leaving the source in place. Thanks to those who contributed to this discussion.-- — Keithbob • Talk • 02:29, 25 May 2013 (UTC)

Season 5 addition New Sharks Questionable source suggest remove
http://www.tvmediainsights.com/highlights/26349/friday-june-28-2013/
mentioned the addition of two new sharks but leaves out kevin o leary. Just wondering how accurate this is as a source? Because oleary and Daymond both have a tendency to use Twitter (accounts have been verified by twitter team) and show no pictures of these new sharks nor mention of the addition of the show. Also I find it strange that NO press release of this from any one is out there other than this one source a previous Wikipedian added. 173.206.72.186 (talk)
- Thanks for coming to the talk page for discussion. TV media is a valid, but weak, source in my opinion so I've added the NY Times to support the content on Tisch etc. Let me know if you have any additional concerns and thanks for your help in developing this article. Cheers! -- — Keithbob • Talk • 18:59, 3 July 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks Keithbob for finding a clear cut source. 173.206.72.186 (talk)
