Shantikunj, headquarter of AWGP, was established by Pt Shriram Sharma Acharya. Though a small establishment then, now it has become a big institution spread over a large area. It works as the head office as well as training center for the organisation. It also serves as training center for various govt and non govt organisations like Scouts & Guides. It also finds a place in the tourist map of Uttarakhand (India).
I found that existing page containing the biography of Pt Shriram Sharma Acharya was not enough to give information about Shantikunj. So I created a new page on Shantikunj. You are welcome to share your views and make improvements. --Anusut (talk) 17:56, 8 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
