erroneous line about andrew macaren.
[edit]The line below was inaccurate, it was Andrew's son Leon that visited. Line has updated with updated sources. The source used by Hougman and Hogg has been found to have many errors by almost all subsequent sources.
- In 1959, Shantanand was visited by, Andrew MacLaren, the founder of the School of Economic Science (SES) and, according to McLaren, Shantanand was influential in solidifying the central principle of the SES's philosophy as "unity in diversity" which merged the "doctrine of Eastern philosophy and Western wisdom
