Need help improving article about Shalom Hartman Institute
[edit]What does this page need to be improved? It has external references. Are there style or content issues or both? I am a former journalist, so I know of "neutral point of view" plus I have written for an encyclopedia... Please advise. Aabbey (talk) 22:16, 27 May 2010 (UTC)
- I made a few minor copy edits and format changes per WP:MOS and WP:LEAD. I did not read the entire article but gave it a glance and generally it looks like a good starter article. You could improve it by adding more citations as some sections (first half of history section) have no citations at all, you could add photos and an info box. Good luck!-- — Keithbob • Talk • 16:06, 31 May 2010 (UTC)
- OK, I just took a look at your citations. I don't want to discourage you, but they are pretty weak. So the first order of business is to find stronger, more reliable sources ie major newspapers and magazines etc. Otherwise the article may be tagged for being non-notable and may be nominated for deletion. I'll watch list this article and try to give you a hand, but if the sources aren't there, then there isn't much we do it may have to go. But let's be optimistic and see what we can do. -- — Keithbob • Talk • 16:14, 31 May 2010 (UTC)

Titles (academic)
[edit]The article should be de-titleized, calling people “Rabbi Professor, Rabbi Dr.” and the like, is not customary, to put it politely, Ajnem (talk) 12:59, 2 May 2011 (UTC)

Why is this part of the "Women Rabbis" series?
[edit]There's nothing in the article that has any connection to women rabbis. It seems to me either that it should be removed from the series (preferred) or information added to the article that explains why it's connected. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 142.79.206.158 (talk) 18:08, 23 July 2020 (UTC)
