Contested deletion

This page is not unambiguously promotional, because it is an objective resume of the event, just like any other sports event. If you find something picky on it, point me out and we will discuss about it. Also, this may be my first edit here because I'm french, but I'm a contributor since long time. See Commons... The article has no reliable, independent, published sources so it breaks Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. The language is clearly promotional and is not neutrally worded, for example "While there are many snowboarding events all around the world, the Ride Shakedown stands out by virtue of its unparalleled competition format. The concept: a relaxed, festive gathering with minimal restrictions on athletes. Taken to the very heart of the action, fans are treated to a thrilling high-caliber competition, which remains highly accessible. Ok I agree on that. I'll remove the line. To be honest, I've removed a lot of "Subjective content" before submitting it and have read the First Edit guide, I've based also on the X Games articles... The thing is, that it's very pertinent to Wikipedia EN to have an article about it, perhaps you can remove the line and let the article goes? --Acarpentier (talk) 21:00, 11 November 2011 (UTC)

The main concern is the complete lack of proper sources. If you can source the article, I would be happy to see it remain, but without independent, published sources, it cannot remain on Wikipedia. Sparthorse (talk) 21:13, 11 November 2011 (UTC)

Thanks, for the suggestion. I removed the second paragraph of the description, so the rest is only about the description, concept, dates. And I added 2 news sources and documentary. Any other concern? --Acarpentier (talk) 21:14, 11 November 2011 (UTC)
