Infobox and lead

[edit]

Not done it is very notable.

  • "since was shot" → "since he was shot"
  • "doing several activities" → "taking part in several activities" to avoid overusing "doing"

Background and composition

[edit]
  • "alongside Quavos, who" → "alongside Quavo, who"
  • Wikilink 808Melo
  • Target programmed to Programming (music)
  • "was the songs Recording engineer, and" → "was the song's recording engineer and"
  • The word studio is not needed for the mixtape identification
  • Sure you can't add any more sources about the comp itself?
  • "woodwind instrumentation," and" → "woodwind instrumentation", and" per MOS:QUOTE
  • "the drum sequencing."" → "the drum sequencing"."
  • "room he's in."" → "room he's in"."
  • "He concludes, saying" → "He concluded, saying"
  • "new-found wealth."" → "new-found wealth"."
  • "show his personality."" → "show his personality"."

Reception

[edit]
  • A lot of MOS:QUOTE issues here
  • ""easily outshine[d]" Quavo in" → ""easily outshines" Quavo on"
  • "one of the mixtapes" → "one of the mixtape's"
  • "stated "Shake the Room" said it was quickly" → "stated "Shake the Room" was quickly"
  • "that it continued" → "that it continues"
  • "lauded the song as a" → "lauded the song as the"
  • Target Brooklyn, New York to Brooklyn
  • "Quavo did "just fine" in" → "Quavo do "just fine" on"
  • Only one full-stop should be after UK Singles Chart
  • "It was certified" → ""Shake the Room" was certified"

Music video

[edit]
  • Retitle to Music video and promotion, as the below section can be merged with this one, plus remove the sub-sections

Not done the live performance section is big enough to leave alone.

  • "The music video for the song was" → "The music video was"
  • [18][21][22][23][24] is too many refs at the end of the sentence, so move around appropriately
  • Target fashion week to Paris Fashion Week
  • "in a home invasion" → "during a home invasion"
  • Why is [26] used at the end of the second para's first sentence when it does not back any of that up?
  • "It then switches" → "The scene then switches"
  • [29] should be at the end of the above sentence instead since it only backs the expensive info up
  • "and being a" → "and due to their presence, a"
  • "as they spin their" → "as they spin around in their"
  • "with final credits" → "with the final credits"
  • "still frame that read:" → "still frame that reads:"
  • "the video mixed" → "the video mixes"
  • Fix MOS:QUOTE issues
  • [26] does not mention it being "grainy", nor is it published by Rap-Up
  • Remove target on Billboard
  • "Paris provided a" → "Paris provides a"
  • "and "fun"."" → "and "fun"." to avoid excess speech marks

Live performances

[edit]

Credits and personnel

[edit]
  • The ref does not lead to Meet the Woo 2 on Tidal
  • writer → songwriter
  • Recording engineer → recording engineer
  • assistant mixing enigineer → assistant mixing engineer

Charts

[edit]
  • This should not have a sub-section, as all of the positions are weekly
  • See MOS:TABLECAPTION

Certifications

[edit]
  • Good

References

[edit]
  • Copyvio score looks decent at 36.7%
  • Make sure all of these are archived by using the tool
  • Replace ref 1 with the URL for Meet the Woo 2 on Tidal
  • Ref 26 is citing a PF url, but you have marked it as Rap-Up here and in the prose; add the correct URL

Final comments and verdict

Kyle Peake Now it's done. The Ultimate Boss (talk) 09:10, 17 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
The Ultimate Boss You still need to remove the track-equivalent sales and streams part from the lead since even though the gold certification itself is notable here, it is not relevant to the lead how many units the song pushed for the certification when it is common knowledge that 500,000 equates to gold. --K. Peake 15:40, 17 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Kyle Peake, if you insist. I have removed it. The Ultimate Boss (talk) 15:43, 17 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
The Ultimate Boss  Pass after keeping the article on hold for literally a week, but things like the standard equivalent units for certifications are not considered notable for the lead on this site; explaining for future reference and sorry if I sounded too insistent. --K. • The article was promoted to GA on time with no copyright violations. A QPQ is not needed. I am approving the first hook (which is directly cited as well). SL93 (talk) 08:55, 4 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
