I have noticed a lot of reversals of the allegations of antisemitism subsection based on the belief that the journalist conducting the interview was biased. Regardless of the veracity of the accusations of bias I would argue that this subsection should remain online as it is. The interview was undeniably an important episode of Minister Qureshi’s life and it is described in a largely neutral tone (says that it was condemned as antisemitic rather than outright declaring it as such and includes that Qureshi denied the accusation). Even if the journalist was biased, I believe that the situation was described accurately and with a neutral voice. If you want to be completely fair to Qureshi I would have no problem including a more detailed description of his defence, however to delete the subsection entirely is irresponsible. Let me know what you think I am open to other opinions.

This is simply to thank you for a very reasonable summary of the state of play. It is distressing to see anonymous editors engaging in edit-warring and other vandalistic behavior. As the original author of this section, I just want to reiterate that I, too, would be happy to discuss other perspectives on this section, but bulk deletion of material is not appropriate. --Publius In The 21st Century (talk) 20:40, 16 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
