Promised Time

The part, "Shadow mentions as he falls through the first part of Westopolis about "The Promised Time". Black Doom did not mention this at this point in the story." Is wrong. As soon as you begin the game, Black Doom demands (spoiler for the very beginning of the game), "Bring me the 7 Chaos Emeralds as promised."

Then explain why he says "the promised time" in quotation marks. 03:23, 20 December 2005 (UTC)

It's probably just due to the fact that the voice Acting was rushed during the game and that the Translation from JP to EU wasn't correct. But it was Shadows time to keep his Promise (which he didn't make, Gerald did) which Shadow could have interpreted as "the time of Promise" or the "promised time". Which is why he said it. Although if you want to pick on Phrases from the game, the part where he remembers BlackDoom saying "the promised time is near" never happened. As Black doom didn't say that exact Phrase in the beggining. Unless he's just trying to remember exactly what Doom said. That or Doom could even be telepathically talking to him, though why the Beggining scene was shown if that is the case we won't know. I'll stick to my first answer. Also Shadow Remembers Maria saying "the fate of the Planet rests on...you!" when in SA2B she was clearely standing up and she said a different (better) line. I don't think Shadows memory is very good :D

But Black Doom did say it at the begining, it's not a translation error. MindWraith 06:22, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

Song Name

I have doubts about the name "I Am (All of Me)". Reasons are:

1) In the credits at the end of the game, it says "I Am", not "I Am (All of Me).

2) In the sound test, it says, "I Am", not "I Am (All of Me)".

So is the song name actually "I Am"? --anon

No, in the credits, it says "I Am (All of Me)." In the sound test, it just says "I Am." Maybe they didn't have parentheses in that font? Or maybe the button wasn't big enough? I don't know. 67.100.127.36 05:08, 13 April 2006 (UTC)

I Am (All Of Me) is how it appears at the OST CD. 85.240.244.124 10:20, 27 July 2006 (UTC)

Last Story

"Last Story"

Some suker, made an edit, stating "Last Story". Why do we need that there?

The person, commented "Spoiler Warning", when there is one at the top of the page/article

The person actually, wrote the storyline, for the final stage/story. If that is there, then there isn't anypoint, because there should be a full details about the storyline of the game, from starting to the end/final story.

"In Sonic Adventure 2's tradition, after you have played through all ten endings, you will unlock the last story." What is the point of that? If that has been stated on the article, the details under it, suppose to be about the contiuning of STH Game, How Shadow lived, because many/lots people though he was dead, at the end of SA2.

"Shadow's Attacks

Homing Attack - Pressing A forces Shadow forward with a burst of energy. Chaos Spear - Pressing B (or rapidly pressing it to shoot of multiple blasts) will cause blue bursts of light to fire from Shadow's body, usually toward the nearest target. Charged Chaos Spear "It is like, GameFaqs... First of all, if the article needs that information, it shouldn't have "Pressing A/or Pressing B".. It suppose to quote, Jumping, or pressing the Action Button.
All this seems, to be like Gamefaqs... now i want you wiki's to respond to this...or i may have to/be forced to delete this detail. >x<ino 00:46, 6 December 2005 (UTC)

Oh well, People should be able to read the instruction booklet for the controls. Im thinking it should not be there. PSI 02:40, 16 December 2005 (UTC)

what are you posting about?

I am going to make a gallery for the game at the bottom ok. >x<ino 04:38, 16 December 2005 (UTC)

I went ahead and removed the "Last Story" section. It just doesn't fit in; it's too in-depth, and sounds more like a strategy guide than an encyclopedia. Plus, really, there's no point to having IT in there, but no summary of the other stories, and since that's not going to happen, why should it get special treatment? --Shadow Hog 14:26, 8 February 2006 (UTC)
Revert it back!
Becuase the last story is useful!
And that Last Strory actually happend in the game, i edited some part of it, because that editor kept on mentioning " You have to jump," "credit rolls, the end". Changed all that.
And what do you mean by it's unecyclopedic!? If it isnt you have to be bold and correct it by making it encyclopedia.
First of all, every 3D Sonic titles, has a last story, and each title's article an editor has typed down a last story...that is why this also needs to be there
You need to play it, and you will understand why it's special:P >x<ino 15:23, 8 February 2006 (UTC)
No.
Simply put, Wikipedia is NOT an instruction manual or a video game guide, and it certainly isn't someplace to have a very in-depth look at the Last Story - but nothing else in the game. It's an utter waste of space. And if it's in all the other articles, too, then it'll get removed from all the other articles just the same. I'm not bending on this one - it's just not supposed to be here. --Shadow Hog 15:49, 8 February 2006 (UTC)
I agree with Shadow Hog. The big Last Story description has been bugging me for awhile. Technically, the big ugly stage descriptions shouldn't be there either; when I wrote similiar descriptions for Sonic Heroes, someone shoved them off to WikiBooks. Shadow's should likely be the same, and the main entry should just be replaced with a list of stages. BlazeHedgehog 15:55, 8 February 2006 (UTC)

Shadow h0g: what are you talking about, Wiki is not a intrustion manual, video game guide. WE know that! And if you are referring the Last Story has an manual or video game gudie, then you are wrong! Because the last story, is critically tell the visitor, what happens when you finish all storys.

BlazeHedgehog: it's true, the Last Story is pretty long, when you said "Shadow's should likely be the same, and the main entry should just be replaced with a list of stages" you are forgetting, this article isn't about Shadow, it's about the game!

Yes.. i was the suker that remove the last story before, because i though to my self, that, it's about the game not storys, and the way it was typed was poor! When i was reading and edting Black Doom's i later remeberd about the Last Story

So i edited some part of it, and decided to put it at the bottom, to seperate it from the game information and the story.

it's true, we dont need it there! Because the last story only gives out information concerning what happened

If we need the Last Story then we need to put it in an article regarding Sonic Title's Story, from story starting from Sonic Adventure, no info about gameplay. >x<ino 19:31, 8 February 2006 (UTC)

Just briefed through the Shadow article, I saw the plot summary.

If those games listed, contained what happened in the past Sonic games involving Shadow, even though it has the Hidden Story Unlock typed

Why can't this Last Story go inside the Shadow Article. I know it's pretty long, but we have to dose down some information which are not required. >x<ino 09:21, 14 February 2006 (UTC)

To whomever is making the Gallery, please put some images in there soon, otherwise I'll delete the header again. Also, when you added the Gallery header, why did you delete some of the categories? And one more thing, when posting to the discussion boards, please sign your message, and don't stick it in between someone else's message, it looks like >x<ino is saying that he's going to put up the gallery. -- VederJuda 13:17, 22 December 2005 (UTC)

What do you mean, you mean a gallery section? >x<ino 18:15, 22 December 2005 (UTC)

User:172.138.100.133 said they were making a gallery section, I at first reverted it because there was nothing in there and because they had erased some of the categories in the process; but afterwards I put the header back for them when I saw the note in the Talk section saying they were going to add pictures later, which they placed in the middle of one of your posts (the note, not the pictures). -- VederJuda 18:23, 22 December 2005 (UTC)

Shadow Motorcycle

Beat Westropolis has a Hero.

In Second level with Sonic, where you have to chase & destroy the Alien Ship.

During some runaway, you will see a Billboard advert of a white vehicle, which is displayed around some corner. It is there for you to catch up with the Alien Ship, while some Death Leeches (Offspring)/ wait for you. If you look around closely, the bike should be sitting around near the car. >x<ino 01:01, 15 January 2006 (UTC)

Oh, okay, thanks! I always wanted to see Shadow ride a motorcycle! --anon

You know, something funny is that occasionally in that level, GUN soldiers will Say "Where's my bike?", possibly a reference to the bike in that level.--Ac1983fan

Yea, i also noticed it, has well >x<ino 02:07, 22 January 2006 (UTC)

Me, too! And I did thought I saw a motocycle back there. --anon

Finally; I was starting to wonder where that motorcycle was. xD --Forte.EXE

It's not very cool, I have to admit. It's not even a big part of the story! And not as fast as Shadow. It's should've been really fast, cool looking, and part of the story. Or at least used more in the stage. I hardly use it cause it's pretty slow! --anon

Canon route

Please help me I am obsessed with canon. I have played Shadow so many times to find out which cutscenes fit with everything and then I found something. I think that 'I am' actually hint the games canonical flow. The song goes 'one step forward, two steps back (one step forward two steps back) ' This might actually mean the games flow. 'Forward' is hero and 'back' is dark. This means the flow will go like this.

Westopolis- Lethal Highway- Black Bull- Prison Island- The Doom- Heavy Dog- Iron Jungle- Egg Breaker- Black Comet- Sonic & Diablon.

This would mean that Shadow gets the flashback in Prison Island, knowledge of the Doom level and get told he is an android. The fact that he ends up in the Black comet is useful because 'Last story' starts in the black comet. I find it also likely that shadow would help Sonic in the beginning because that is where he started. The only concern is the pictures of Shadow tearing up the Gun soldiers in the screens of the GUN cutscene. (should I put this discussion point on the shadow character section). (leroy- I don't have a username)

Woah.... tha actually makes perfect sense... Because shadow isn't sure who he should trust, he goes around searching for the truth, Black doom shows him the ark attack, and he pursues eggman... by golly, you figured it out! Ac1983fan 23:01, 15 February 2006 (UTC)
I don't think that Shadow would fight Sonic & Diablon, because the Commander was down on Earth during the Last Story and Sonic didn't look beaten up. I think it's best to say that your route canon route could be accept with Black Comet being complete as a Hero. The only thing we could say is not part of the canon route is that Shadow kills Robotnik. - Mystic

There are two problems with your theory. First, you assume that "forward" is good and "back" is evil, when if you look at the level map evil is up and good is down. Also, you just explained three levels. I have a theory that explains the entire canon route, and the tidbit about the last story taking place in Black Comet is irelevent, Doom Chaos Controls it to earth after he steals the CEs from Shad at an unknown location. Now, assuming (due to the level map) forwards is evil and back is good, and using NTBs lyrics: "I TAKE ONE STEP FORWARD AND TWO STEPS BACK got a hundred thousand pounds sittin on my back, UP, DOWN all around don't know quite..." Any how this would be the levels: Westopolis, Digital Circuit, Prison Island, Mad Matrix, Iron Jungle, Cosmic Fall, Egg Dealer. This route makes extreme sense, as it is the ONLY route where Shad supposedly doesn't beat Sonic or Doom (both of which he seems to trust somewhat in Final story) and doesn't kill Eggman (who appears in final story. That is MY canon route through Shadow the hedgehog. Radman 17:48, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

I wouldn't hurt myself trying to figure this out.--Neofcon 01:32, 6 July 2007 (UTC)
That does make sense, although the real question is how he gets on the Black Comet. MegaWhatt 23:33, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
I forgot to add another piece of evidence to my canon route, in it, you encounter all three of the Chaotix, and help them (Shadow helps Espio get into the computer, not collect the data) and they appear in the Last Story with the data they needed Shadow's help to get. On the issue of how Shadow got to Black Comet, he had all seven CEs right? Well he could've Chaos Controlled there to ask Doom about his past. What idiot goes off on a quest and never finishes the job? So he probably figured that if nothing else, he might as well ask Doom, right? In addition, this has him help the Black Arms at first (shows his hatred for the humans, and his initial, "I don't know who he is, but for now I have to trust him"), then he helps Rouge (shows loyalty to Team Dark members), helps Charmy get the disks (so he would have them in the last story and all), then he helps Espio get into the computer in the cutscene before Mad Matrix, helps Doom again, but battles Eggman with Espio and gets told he is an Android by the big Egg, he goes to Iron jungle and helps Omega (helping yet another Team Dark member), goes to Cosmic Fall, and stops the Black arms from destroying it (remember, my ending he says "I am the guardian of ARK and all that!") He works with Vector in the end to stop Eggman, and does NOT kill him in that ending, and is close to Black Comet. Radman 17:48, 25 September 2007 (UTC) I rest my case.
Overall, that's a very good theory. The only problem is Shadow helping Black Doom in Mad Matrix; remember that the point of detonating those bombs was to destroy Eggman's computer. In other words, all of the Doctor's data, including the programs essential for his computers to function, would be deleted. Furthermore, unless Espio was able to gather the data extremely quickly, the data he was looking for would probably be eliminated before he could get it, and he would end up vanishing along with all of Eggman's files. (Although, how he would show up after Mad Matrix with this explanation is a bit of a plot hole, not to mention how the battlefield would still exist...) --Luigifan 18:04, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
Oh, yeah, I should mention that if Shadow fights the Egg Dealer after Cosmic Fall, he had to have cleared the Dark Mission. In other words, he simply grabs the Chaos Emerald and gets the heck out of the decaying area of the ARK without escorting Vector to the computer room. Again, it's possible that he got there without Shadow's help, but I can't be sure. In addition, there's the possibility that Vector goes down with [part of] the ARK if Shadow doesn't help him, although this once again is contradicted by Vector's participation in the battle with the Egg Dealer. However, for both Mad Matrix and Cosmic Fall for your canon route, Shadow actually didn't help the Chaotix (other than Charmy.) This means that we don't really know if the Chaotix suceeded or not (although the Last Story implies that they did.) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Luigifan (talkcontribs) 18:11, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

I would just like to say I think Radman is right. I appluad his higher level of thinking even if it was leroy's idea. But for kicks let's here my version. "Due to the fact that Shadow is emo he wanted to kill Black Doom a.k.a. his parental. So he jumped from place to place and partner to partner because he never fit in. Then, with his awesome gothic rip-off, attitude he was immune to his parents feelings( This is when the final story takes place and Black Doom sends his 'good' and 'obediant' children to eat the cast ) !!! Then his adrenaline pumped up and those red scars on his arms and legs opened up to the sharpness of the chaos emeralds resulting in the transformation that is known as Super Emo Shadow!!! He kills his parental. After this he lets go of his long lost love. The idiot blonde who tried to be emo but cut a vien... The End." [[SxeFluff|--SxeFluff 02:50, 27 September 2007 (UTC)]] 21:48, 26 September 2007

OBJECTION! The canon route would have to involve everyone except E-123 Omega (He doesn't appear in Last Story). Iron Jungle and Lava Shelter are probably fanon, but definitely not canon (Lava Shelter is mentioned by Eggman, but it hasn't been tampered with, and Iron Jungle is bypassed should the next stage in Story Mode be Space Gadget or Lost Impact).

Here's my theory on the canon route: Westopolis, Digital Circuit, Prison Island, Mad Matrix, Egg Breaker, Lost Impact, Cosmic Fall, Black Doom

Why I say that Cosmic Fall's Black Doom is canon is because in that ending Doom explains that he is related to Shadow.

Mad Matrix's Dark Mission contradicts Shadow's initial objective, to get Eggman's data. It cannot be canon, as destroying those bombs deletes Eggman's files, Espio, and Egg Breaker. It is likelier that Shadow helps Espio extract data as he acquires it. Lost Impact is canon as it explains Shadow's memory of Maria.

Westopolis is obviously canon.

Digital Circuit explains the CIA mainframe having been compromised when the president speaks to his secretary about the information on Black Arms.

Prison Island opens up more of Shadow's memory. Circus Park would be runner-up in canonity, but it isn't explained much, while Cryptic Castle would probably be more of filler, as how do you explain its Dark Mission going from Eggman's Castle to Central City instantly?

Maybe it's just me, but I've found the canon ending to be named: "092: Requiem for a Fallen Angel". Any contradictions? 65.31.202.89 (talk) 00:06, 8 December 2007 (UTC)

"I am obsessed with canon". Main reason I hate sonic fans. Anywho the gameplay was a "choose your own path" gig, meaning anything is possible. The whole idea was to actually give you different tidbits and events that try to explain bits and pieces of shadow's story. And with a good majority of these paths explaining many events in the story leading to the last ending arc, DON'T BOTHER BUSTING YOUR BRAINS OVER IT! The game hardly had any overrall affect over the series and I doubt anyone cares what happened anymore. 06 practically disconnected itself from being a continuation of that game because of reception more than likely (I wouldn't put past Sega if they tried to retcon it out because of reception) so just don't worry about whats canon or not. Sega doesn't CARE about continuity.--Neofcon (talk) 01:50, 8 December 2007 (UTC)

Yea, you are correct. However, because of said "gig", we decide to gather creative theories on the canon route. You cannot blame someone who has creativity to use their ideas. You would be insulting Sonic fans, even the ones who do not care about continuity. You know, not everyone has to agree with the theories we have. 65.31.202.89 (talk) 02:19, 8 December 2007 (UTC)

Who I insult is none of my concern. Creative theories are original research and as such will NOT be posted.--Neofcon (talk) 15:25, 12 December 2007 (UTC)

Shadow Da Weakling!?:P

Finishing the game...and playing through the storyline.

Some part of the ending story Shadow saying: "the old Shadow must have died in space..." which means Shadow must have died in SA2, and this Shadow is now an andriod

Another ending story: Not saying anything about Shadow being andriod or dieing in space

The game was pretty annoying: at the end of each story Shadow kept on saying " I am Shadow the Hedgehog...this is who I am!"

Anyway...after completing all story, your @ss unlocks the Last Story. But in the last story, all the ending you watched has nothing to do with it. Which still means it doesn't comfirmes if Shadow is an andriod or real
But we can tell... because Shadow didn't die! If he died Black Doom won't be able to mind control Shadow

But the problem is...how did Shadow survive in SA2 ending....what happened to Shadow after the events of Sonic Heroes!?

More reasons why I was so dissapointed in this game. >x<ino 02:53, 16 February 2006 (UTC)

Eggman saved Shadow after SA2-if you play Devil Doom(the last boss) for about 10 minutes Eggman tells you this. Don't know about what happened after Heroes though... Also, Eggman dies in some of the endings but he is there in the Last Story!Robotonic 19:44, 16 February 2006 (UTC)

I don't really recalling Dr Eggman saving Shadow's @ss. Yes Eggman did die in one of the endings, which is in one of the good story. To me...I think Sonic Heroes was just a spin off to an innovative game play, because the storyline didn't quite match up >x<ino 21:18, 16 February 2006 (UTC)

You can't actually see Eggman saving Shadow in any game,he just says that he did and your spin-off theory could be possibleRobotonic 19:57, 17 February 2006 (UTC)

Actually, Eggman didn't save Shadow, it was his robots that did. --anon

Criticisms

Someone needs to add a criticisms section. Jedi6 03:20, 27 February 2006 (UTC)

Criticism about what!? Well it means we will have to start reading Reviews about Shadow The Hedgehog. This Cirtism will go under First Impressions. >x<ino 01:37, 5 March 2006 (UTC)

Shadow the Hedgehog was murdered by the press and got horrible review scores by most reviewers. Those criticisms should go under a criticism section since they aren't first impressons Jedi6 10:00, 5 March 2006 (UTC)
I add a criticism section in, feel free to elaborate on what I posted. Jedi6 10:18, 5 March 2006 (UTC)

I will move the section under First Impressions...And to that editor that kept on putting the damn word "however" has been used to many damn times >x<ino 23:42, 5 March 2006 (UTC)

It's better than say "but" many times. Also, I think people criticize the game a lot because they think the camera goes against them, and the controls are bad. I actually don't know why. The camera is fine and the controls are great. Why do others think so? --anon

The thing about sonic games is that the camera has never been great but the reason Shadow is criticized so much is that it actually made the camera problems worse. Jedi6-(need help?) 00:08, 12 March 2006 (UTC)

Yes! Other Sonic games a't that bad but there comes a situation, when you rotate, the camera gets stuck. Or sometimes during a stage, it puts you in a view where you can't even see the traget you are trying to hit or your item. Old Sonic's camera control were great. Because you can just use the L & R triggers to rotate them

Shadow The Hedgehog had the crappiest camera, because you have to use the Gamecube C-stick/ PS2 & XBOX alt analog to control it. Which you can best use that at most First Person Shooters & other Action Adventure games. That is what made the control really bad and makes the camera pretty bad. During the last levels for the Good side mission, which is the G.U.N Stage, Shadow has to destroy their control or something.

There comes a section, you enter it, and the camera gets stuck, but a security camera watches you. That part was crap. Shadow's camera was perfect but camera control and controlling was bad >x<ino 16:46, 12 March 2006 (UTC)

Well, at first it was hard, but after playing it over and over and over, using the c-stick is like using the L and R triggers - easy! I don't get stuck at all. BTW, I have the Gamecube game, so it's not just Playstation and X-box, is it? --anon

Should this really be there? Its not useful information, its just their opinions. It is important to mention that the game got bad reviews, but does it need its own section.

Yes it should be there because the critical reception of a game is important. As long as NPOV is broken its fine. Jedi6-(need help?) 03:00, 23 March 2006 (UTC)

We don't just need to tell about the lousy reviews; we need to tell about the controversy among Sonic fans such as myself and among others as well. I, for one, despise the way this game has cheapened the Sonic name with the "gangsta" sort of image projected by the excessive cursing, guns, and excess violence. They even dragged Knuckles and Sonic in on it ("damn"), and they're my favorites! --Gaming King 04:28, 21 May 2006 (UTC)

Okay, what the heck is up? No replies in months. This obviously has to be added for a comprehensive article. --Gaming King 07:11, 1 July 2006 (UTC)

Music Section

I don't really know why, but lately Sonic related articles are just been f*ked up! I am really trying my best to actually improve all Shadow related article, and I get my work thrown back in my face.

I don't understand how an article only about a game, have a full list of the music. When there was an album release for that game, which another article can be created containing the music!

Shadow Hog saying, other games articles have music section, can you please list em for me!

Putting the Voice Soundtrack is alright! explains all for the music, but putting each soundtrack remixes is just a total waste. I don't see what people care about remixes, if an album have been bought it, then they should create an article for it and it should contain the remixes! That is what they did for that album release for Metroid. "During the Last Story cutscene in which Shadow uses the Chaos emeralds to go Super, a slower, remixed music clip of "I Am (All of Me)" plays, then flawlessly switches to a remixed music clip of "Live and Learn", the main theme of Sonic Adventure 2. "Can you tell me the use of that!? Because that just looks to me it's one of those Shadow fanboys, who love this game so much. Because that note is just too weak and not even encyo... "The ARK" as a remix of Final Rush's "Highway in the Sky" from Sonic Adventure 2 (Used during the stage called "The ARK") .

Well you can all do what you like, when the date for Shadow the Hedgehog finishes, even though if my work get thrown back in my face. I will leave those Shadow the hedeghog related article. Because I do feel that section is where that totally get vandalled the most, and other dumb wiki huslting my @ss all the time.

If you listen closely, you'll notice that the Circus Park song is the the same song played in the the Carnival battle level in Sonic 3/Sonic 3 & Knuckles. -- Banjotooie142

Who got rid of the song "Never Turn Back" in the vocal songs section?

Secret Weapons

First of all, stop noting that they are strong against bosses, you ca't use secret weapons on the boss levels! Also where does it say the satalite laser was invented by the Black Arm's? I don't believe there is any proof to this. -- MindWraith

There may not be, this article isn't in that good of shape. Jedi6-(need help?) 03:28, 12 April 2006 (UTC)

Yeah, are those even the official names for the weapons, I put in the Flash Sot names because they are on the official website's mini game, but where did the others come from? -- MindWraith

Broken Song

I've heard Who I AM and believe it was for the game, but where can i hear Broken, i cant find it anywhere. I can't evan find any trace of the existance of the band or song, if someone can't show me an example of the band, i'll remove it from the page.MindWraith 06:03, 17 May 2006 (UTC)

Unkown337 is basically just putting vandilism in the Sonic games article. He should be blocked, but unfortunatly, I don't have that power. UnDeRsCoRe 14:18, 30 September 2006 (UTC)

I added links to articles on the songs I Am All of Me and Never Turn Back (I made the latter). But I pretty much messed up the lyrics for NTB...can someone fix it?

I know the words by heart, but here they are.

These are the lyrics to the final boss version. They are pretty much the same as the opening to the game, but with extended lyrics and longer music

It's not "do it if you care", it's "do it if you dare". And it's not "hold on for delight", it's "hold on for dear life"! Other than that, you got it! Odd Trivia Message

In the trivia, one of the messages is "Part of the music on the level Glyphic Canyon has an identical tune to the music played in an episode of Teen Titans where Bumble Bee from Titans East is trying to stop a train with a bomb set by Control Freak." I doubt they were referencing Teen Titans, because the music was likely composed by the Japanese rather than Americans. It's just a coincidence! Shadoman 14:56, 25 August 2006 (UTC)

If this game is again in the main series chart, why don't we include Chaotix and Sonic 3D Blast to the list? --189.129.107.16 17:36, 3 April 2007 (UTC)

3D Blast was part of the main series as was Shadow, but Chaotix I dont know about, never played it, did it have sonic in it at all? MindWraith (talk) 10:53, 19 November 2007 (UTC)

Semi-block

I think a semi-block might be usefull for a little while, recently i've notice many more IPs than usual making unsources notes and putting things in the article that go against what we've decided in the talk pages. Does anyone else think the same? MindWraith 01:04, 20 December 2006 (UTC)

Gun Soldier Blood

I would like to point out to whomever keeps undoing my changes every time I edit this, that there was never any evidence of any human blood being in the game, both in early versions, and the final.(Blastero 21:55, 21 November 2006 (UTC))

Last Story

I put what i thought was a good version of a last story after the list of endings but someone deleted it, i am as you would proble be quite anoyyed at this so im going to write down my version of the last story below...

Shadow stands inside the Black Comet all 7 of the Chaos Emeralds above him, he then says he can finally find the truth about his past when Black Doom appears from the ground. He tells Shadow that they can now start their ritual as planned. Confused at what to do everyone Shadow has teamed up with [excluding Omega and Team Chaotix] turn up and try to convince Shadow to give the Emeralds to Sonic. Black Doom tells them that the Black Arms intend to use the Humans as a power source and say how they will be well looked after. Then to everyones surprise Black Doom then takes the Emeralds and performs Chaos Control.

The Comet then teleports down to the planets surface and 3 lengths of rock burst out and dig into the ground. Back inside the Comet Sonic tells everyone much there shock, that they must have used Chaos Control to warp the Comet down to the surface using Chaos Control. Black Doom confirms this by telling them how the Comets velocity is not powerful enough to pass through another planets atmosphere and says how he needed Professor Geralds help to achive this. He then tells them about how he and the Professor made a deal that if Black Doom helped him create Shadow then Gerald would get Doom the seven Chaos Emeralds.

In shock and disbelief Shadow falls to his knees, while Eggman tries to defend his Grandfather. Not very caring about what just happend Knuckles gets prepared to attack but suddenly freezes. In a few seconds evryone is unable to move. Black Doom informs them that they have been infected with a special gas that is thier blood stream and will soon fully paralise them, he then sends alien spawn to devourer Sonic and crew. But just when thier about to feed Shadow starts to hear Eggman and the Gun Commander in his head saying comments from earlier in Shadows quest. Then after hearing Maria calling for Shadow to help her. He rises to his feet and kills one of the spawn and claims that he is Shadow the Hedgehog and he has put his past behind him and begins to chase the just fled Black Doom who has taken the Emeralds with him.

After fighting his way through the Comet using Chaos Control, Shadow is finaly able to catch up to Black Doom who tries to taunt Shadow but after noticing Shadow isnt paying any notice, informs Shadow they have the same blood in them and forces him down with a type of mind control. Shadow then askes Black Doom who he really is and is told how he was created from Black Dooms DNA. Meanwhile Team Chaotix are onboard the SPACE COLONY ARK trying to hack into the main computer when Charmy gets empachentand hits the keyboard stinger first, this somehow activates a video message of Professor Gerald.

Geralds video appears all over the around the world including the GUN Base and the Black Comet. Gerald begins to tell Shadow that if he is listening to this then his worse fear has happend. After reviling that the goverment wants to shut Project: Shadow down he tells how he has made a huge mistake with making contact with Black Doom. He then tells Shadow he must use The Eclipse Cannon for its main purpose... to destroy the Black Comet saying he is the only hope for mankind. Maria then appears on the screen and reasures her grandfather. After finding this outShadow rises to his feet, much to the surprise of Black Doom. Shadow then jumps to attack Black Doom who quickly teleports away and transforms into a huge creature known as Devil Doom. Being told he will die, Shadow uses the left behind Chaos Emeralds to transform into Super Shadow and flies off for battle.

During the long battle Shadow is encouraged by his friends to fight on and destroy Black Doom whilst Doom is trying to make Shadow join him. During the battle Shadow is informed by Eggman that he is NOT a robot created but actully saved him using one of his robots after his fall from the ARK. Knowing this information Shadow is finally able to overpower Black Doom and sends him falling to the ground far below.

Knowing his job is nearly finished Shadow flies under the Comet and teleports it and himself using a very powerful Chaos Control. The Comet then reapears in front of the Eclipse Cannon and is blown to piceces by a powerful beam. Seeing what has happend Sonic and crew [who were somehow able to escape the Comet in time] are impressed by what Shadow has done while a worried Rouge wonders if Shadow's Ok. Amy says that he has to be fine, after all he is Shadow. The President and Commander are two of the only people not celebratin the destruction of the Comet, relising how wrong they were about the Professor. They then decied to pay homeage to the Professor to keep the world safe.

Shadow is last seen looking outside the window of the control room of the ARK holding a picture of Maria and Professor Gerald before muttering "Goodbye forever... Shadow the Hedgehog" before dropping the photo and exiting the room.

well what do you think. there are a few spelling mistakes but i typed it quite quickly.Mt 1994 23:12, 19 December 2006 (UTC)

I'm not the one who deleted it but I can see a few problems with it.

1: It may be too long to be a section of the article.

2: Some of it is speculatory and based on assumption.

3: It misses some important parts. MindWraith 01:05, 20 December 2006 (UTC)

I agree with everything MindWraith has said. While I'm typing this, I see one speculation: "The President and Commander are two of the only people not celebratin the destruction of the Comet, relising how wrong they were about the Professor." How do you know exactly what they were thinking? I've played the game, and there's no caption on their thoughts. Are you truly trying to fit all of your theories into this article? It can take up at least three sections. And you even missing the more important details! Seriously, if you could get your facts straight and shorten it down, I'm sure no one would have a problem with you adding it into the article. If you add it now, it will "be edited mercilessly" by many, including myself.

--Tails Prower13 03:04, 20 December 2006 (UTC)

but i was right about the president and the commander because the president actully says " After the way we all treated him, he ended up saving us all in the end. we were al WRONG ABOUT THE PRO FESSOR." Also i just played the last story again and i cant see anything important i missed out. Also can the person who deleted what took me nearly an hour to type down please step forward and tell me what i did wrong.Mt 1994 11:09, 20 December 2006 (UTC)

It's not rare that people say things other than what they're thinking. Anyways, I just watched the ending again, and I haven't seen anyone say anything about someone ended up saving someone. On the game, as you know if you've actually played the game, you'd know that you can choose to follow Black Doom, Sonic, or do whatever you want. I'm starting to think you haven't played the game. There's actually three alternate endings. What game station are you using, as some games are different on their respective game station.

--Tails Prower13 19:28, 20 December 2006 (UTC)

if youve played the whole game you will relise that you play the last story. you cant follow anyones orders and all you do is try to make it to the centre of the comet. you cant follow Black Doom. Im begining to think you have not played the game... Could someone, who has actully played the whole game please back me up on this.Mt 1994 22:32, 20 December 2006 (UTC)

Three endings? It's clearly obvious you haven't played the game Tails. There are TEN endings from the get go and one final ending unlocked by getting the first ten. A total of eleven endings altogether. Although his spelling and grammar oare shot to hell and back, Mt. 1994 is spot on with what he's saying. Yes, the President did admit that they were wrong about Gerald and that they should pay homage to him.

However, I wouldn't even bother with a plot summary. I'm not sure that's up to wikipedia's standards. I'm fairly sure it's not needed. Try looking up a few Wikipedia policies. :)GrandMasterGalvatron 03:51, 21 December 2006 (UTC)

Im not being rude, but what do you mean its not up to wiki's standards. Most of the Sonic the Hedgehog series have articals about last story so i thought i was for the first time helping this site. Also... HOORAY!!!!!!! At last GMG and DGD Edge have at last agreed with me. but unsurprisingly i get had a go at with my grammer but i did say it was bad because of some spelling mistakes. Oh and because you know how its me who sometimes trys to make changes so can one of you lot find out who change my page a lot because all it says now is lots of QUACKS.Mt 1994 22:39, 21 December 2006 (UTC)

He does have a point; If we can put in detail each of the normal 10 endings, why not a condensed version of the final story? ChromeWulf ZX 19:50, 10 January 2007 (UTC)

Expert Mode?

I keep seeing references to Expert Mode. How do you play it? By getting all "A"s? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.137.121.11 (talk) 16:35, 24 December 2006 (UTC).

yeah how od you do that!

Is getting all A's even possible, without losing your sanity? Maybe Expert Mode is a hoax. ChromeWulf ZX 19:51, 10 January 2007 (UTC)

You need to get all A's, I have Expert mode as well as almost everyone from gamspot that i've talked too. It's not hard since this game has such huge replayability. And I hope you weren't being serious about it being a hoax. MindWraith 01:26, 11 January 2007 (UTC)

Nah, I was only serious about the losing your sanity part. ChromeWulf ZX 15:32, 26 January 2007 (UTC)

Movie References

None of these have been confirmed. The closest thing we have to a confirmed reference is the Space Colony Ark, which has not even been confrimed as a Star Wars reference. Just because it resembles a Star Wars reference does not mean that it is also a Star Wars reference. (Blastero 21:16, 6 February 2007 (UTC))

Central City Cameo?

In the stage Central City, there is a part in the level where you have to drive through green acid with a jeep to find the last big bomb. If you go to the left where there is a wall while driving in your jeep, you'll see a strange face on the wall. I'm not sure what it is. Maybe someone could mention this.--131.125.66.219 15:20, 26 April 2007 (UTC)s200048

The differences in gameplay style to classic Sonic games have led to a split fanbase?

THIS DISSCUSSION HAS BEEN MOVED TO A MORE APROPRIATE LOCATION FOR THE SUBJECT. IT IS UNDER THE SONIC THE HEDGEHOG (SERIES) PAGE. THANKS. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Radman622 (talkcontribs) 18:16, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

CG movies

i just found out that the CG movies in this game were made by the same studio that made the CG movie production in sonic next gen. Their name is Blur Studio Inc. I found this info at http://www.di-o-matic.com/press/ss_blur_sonic.html --S200048 17:05, 2 June 2007 (UTC)s200048
