Episode Guide?
[edit]I would like to request an episode guide for the Narutaru anime. I've watched through it and though it is straightforward (ie: what various children are doing with their dragonets), the episodes towards the end become blurred and I'm not quite sure what is going on plot wise. Thanks in advance.
- The end of the anime took place at the halfway point of the manga, so a lot more is explained there. The manga's later volumes are out-of-print now in Japan, but you can take a look at the spoilers in the character section here. If I recall correctly, the anime only got 13 episodes because the later stroylines are very violent and sexual. Too hot for TV, if you get my drift. --Selo12394 18:50, 13 May 2007 (UTC)
Kids Station
[edit]Kids Station is NOT a children's television station, contrary to popular belief, and its name. Please don't let people edit that into the article because it makes the series seem so much more controversial than it actually is.
- Well, Kids Station actually does air kids' programming during the day, but it airs programming for adults at night, kind of like how Cartoon Network has Adult Swim. Narutaru is one of the anime that aired at night on Kids Station. --Doinkies 02:43, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
- It's also worth noting that Shadow Star's initial time slot was 01:00am.
Cleanup Initiated
[edit]In response to Charizardpal's call for a cleanup of the characters section, I've put in more information, taken out unneeded bits, and added a couple major characters who weren't previously there. I have also uploaded new manga scan images for all the characters that had no pictures (or just very blurry and small ones), save the school bullies because I don't have that volume on my hard drive. Tell me what you guys think! --Selo12394 00:34, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
- It seems someone added kanji names for most of the characters - greatly appreciated, whoever you are! But it looks like the Otohime section listed Misho Tamai (Shiina's sister) as "Misono Tamai", who is Shiina's mother. Let's try not to get the names mixed up ^^; --Selo12394 21:50, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
Arrrggghh
[edit]Okay, for everyone who ever edits the Shadow Star page in any way: DO NOT REMOVE THE SPOILER TAGS IN THE CHARACTER BIOS SECTION. I've seen them removed time and time again and I am sick of it. There are tons of major plot points and secrets in that section, and not everyone likes to or wants to read all those big spoilers, so we have to keep the spoiler tags in to let people know that there are details in the article they might want to avoid. If the tags aren't kept there, people might have the story unintentionally ruined for them. Please keep all of the spoiler tags in place! --Selo12394 12:18, 23 June 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Narutaru manga.jpg
[edit]Image:Narutaru manga.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Discussion about Manga Ending?
[edit]I don't get the ending at all. It is as bizzare as Neon Genesis Evangelion's one...
The whole plot of the story seems to boil down to "I don't like this world. Let's destroy the world and start a new one"?? What kind of depressed, highly suidical mangaka would make and ending like that? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.44.88.101 (talk) 12:06, 23 March 2008 (UTC)
Kitoh, that's who. =D —Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.237.13.107 (talk) 02:50, 17 October 2009 (UTC)
Sorry, but this isn't a message board. The talk page is for improving the article. Llxwarbirdxll (talk) 21:32, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
Page for Manga Chapters?
[edit]I'm wondering if it would be worthwhile to create a page with summaries for each volume/chapter of the manga, similar to the page that already exists for the episodes of the anime version. Also, I'd like to request some assistance for adding more information to the anime subsection, because since I moved it to below the manga subsection (since the manga was created first) it's looking rather too sparse. —Preceding unsigned comment added by MikoGalatea (talk • contribs) 10:51, 5 May 2010 (UTC)
- I'd appreciate such a section. I just finished the anime, but it struck me as a mixed bag and I don't know whether to bother with the manga or not. Plot summary would help me decide. --Gwern (contribs) 19:47 20 January 2011 (GMT)
RSs
[edit]I just cleaned up the CSE hits for 'Shadow Star Narutaru'. There's at least 6 reviews of the anime which could be used. --Gwern (contribs) 20:04 20 January 2011 (GMT)
