Hi I have a 93 Mazda pickup. The automatic transmission is leaking ,,somewhere.I have been adding fluid since i got it a few weeks ago.It drips when i drive it and then stop and look at the floor beneath the truck,,it drips steady right after i stop the truck..Today ,my brother blocked it completely up,,and filled the transmission. He took off the plate that you can see the flywheel, and the other little plate that you can see into the converter, there were no leaks,no oil spots there. We drove it about 5 miles,,blocked it up,and he seen where it was starting to leak, around the front where the converter is,,,like running down from top of the transmission. We checked the hoses,,they are sweated looking,,but we let the truck idle and they didnt leak,,actually you can let it idle all day and it wont leak, till you drive it....the front and back seals seem good upon the inspection through the inspection holes....The truck also smokes ,,white smoke sometimes.....the rad,and the head gasget are good, there is no coolant in the motor oil,,no skips,,motor runs like a clock.Where is my transmission leaking...could it be burning it up?...But why are we seeing the oil on the floor dripping from the tranny after we drive it a few miles?.Thanks.

Fair use rationale for Image:Sam & Dave Shadetree Set.jpg

[edit]

Image:Sam & Dave Shadetree Set.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
