Based on the related articles currently in the link box at the foot of the article, I highly recommend that articles for Aki Hinata and Angel Moa be created. - CNichols 01:45, 13 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

not only 116 episodes

[edit]
In the main description, it's written: "for a planned total of 116 episodes."
Wikipedia Japan and Newtype Base (http://pc.webnt.jp/anime/disc_base.php?oid=613497) are currently
listing the title of episode 117, any source confirming 116 episodes?
Episode 117 title (Kanji):

ケロロ 七夕大決戦であります(仮) ケロロ 復活! 怪傑ドーパミン であります(仮)

= TV Episode stopped for 116th episode. Reason for this is because of the recent movie that came out week after 116th Episode aired. Link of official site is here: http://www.kerozoro-movie.net/ In any case, I am not sure about if the TV series is totally complete. I do know for fact manga volumes is at around 17th and counting in Japan... --Dooly00000 18:32, 24 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Angol Moa name deriviation?

[edit]

Is it possible that her name is derived from the term Moé? --24.98.112.157 20:50, 28 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It is said to come from "Angolmois", which is appeared in the works of Nostradamus.--J. G. Yu 23:31, 16 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'd bet it's a combination of the two, since her true form is a destroyer of worlds whilst her disguise is a fanservice schoolgirl.--HellCat86 14:06, 13 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Why is she referred to in the articles as "Mois"? Does it ever say "Mois" in the manga or the anime? All the mentions I've seen are spelled with "a" not "is." It may be "Mois" in Nostradamus, but in Sgt. Frog all indications indicate that her name is Moa. Unless someone can provide a reference from the manga or anime that her name is "Moa" then it should be changed in the articles. —pfahlstrom 05:38, 22 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

In French, "Mois" is pronouned as not [moi:z] but [moa], and transliterated as ja:アンゴルモア in Japanese. Remember Nostradamus is French. --DisposableLove 15:51, 02 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Alternate Versions

[edit]

In the "Other Aliens" section of the article, there are six entries that don't exactly fit. i fixed them up just in case they belonged there, but I think they would be more appropriate in the Giroro section. Does anyone here think the same way? InsaneZeroG 03:01, 26 September 2006 (UTC) In addition, there are also alens that are listed that are just younger versions of the characters themselves. I suggest they be moved or deleted or something... -InsaneZeroG 02:09, 3 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Age

[edit]

It has been 2 years since the Keroro Platoon landed on Earth so they have to atleased be a year older.

Only problem is, aside from Pururu we have no clue how old they are >_< CorpSunny (talk) 15:14, 9 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Sargeant Frog ADV DVD release

[edit]

The release date of Sargeant Frog was change to late 2007 according to Animenewsnetwork

- That's interesting. I wish someone would put that in the article instead of having to come here to see it.

Sinkai no Princess De Arimasu?

[edit]

How can that be the title. What does Sinkai mean (Princess of...). What is the plot. Anyone know. SoundPound500000 January 1, 2007 12:37 p.m.

-"Sinkai" means "deep sea", so Deep Sea Princess, or Princess of the Deep Sea would work as an English title. Fitting since it takes place in the deep parts of the ocean.

Is Sgt. Frog chinese or parodying China? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 84.228.238.102 (talk) 14:16, 4 April 2007 (UTC).[reply]

- Um. No.

-Its Japan.

There's the occasional Chinese reference and stuff, but Sgt Frog references everything. — Preceding unsigned comment added by CorpSunny (talkcontribs) 15:44, 9 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Wallpaper featuring new members

[edit]

I've uploaded an image featuring 8 Keronians that are or may be new members. I found it here: http://www.keroro.com/game/vol4/present4.html So technically it is official, but I'm not sure what to do with it. With what I've gathered from the articles, some of these have been used already.

-The one on the top right is Giruru from The Shurara Corps, a group of characters used in the anime. The rest have, as far as I know, only showed up in Keroroland magazine and its spin-off card game.

From top-left to bottom-right: Garuru, Saruru, Aruru, Robobo, Keruru, Goruru, Hanana, Gororo, Eruru. See Keroro Land. --Chininazu12 11:15, 19 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Character articles may need merging

[edit]

Unless we can find material that explains character development and real world info, we should merge many of the character articles. WhisperToMe (talk) 02:50, 21 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed, the Keroro articles are pretty sloppy as it is. Chaoshi (talk) 19:28, 22 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

An area I think needs clean up- there isn't much distinction of when an article is refering to how events happened in the anime or manga. The Moa article gives an origin for her Earth disguise which I can only assume comes from the anime, since that series is more child friendly and the info given conflicts with what is seen in the original manga--HellCat86 (talk) 04:32, 26 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Looking at it, this seems to be the biggest cause of edit wars- someone adds details from the manga and someone replaces them with the anime or vice versa. I'd say given it came first the manga should be given preference and then notable differences seen in the anime should be referred to this. The articles worked like this in their earliest forms.--HellCat86 (talk) 16:03, 27 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This calls for a major clean-up...if anyone get around to it... Chaoshi (talk) 19:09, 13 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Mind if anyone upload the anime logo? --Chininazu12 11:16, 19 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Delete list of Main Characters page

[edit]

The "List of Main Characters" Page has absolutely no sources, has other multiple problems, and basicly has information posted on other pages. I think it needs to go. Chaoshi (talk) 15:00, 3 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Why does it have to go only because it has no sources? It describes the characters very clearly and I don't see anything wrong with it!--Spittlespat (talk) 21:11, 12 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Like I said: the characters are described on different articles anyway, what's the point of having different articles talking about the exact same thing? Chaoshi (talk) 15:51, 13 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No actually they are talking about different things, the characters, Keroro, Kururu, Natsumi, etc. Are you saying they should all be put into one page?--Spittlespat (talk) 17:52, 13 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

We already did, on the Main characters page, that's my point Chaoshi (talk)

Sgt. Frog?

[edit]

Shouldn't Sgt. Frog suppose to be Sgt. Keroro?--Spittlespat (talk) 21:13, 12 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe from where you are. Chaoshi (talk) 21:15, 12 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No actually in China it's called Keroro Sgt. Wait a second in Japan it's called Sgt. Frog I don't think so.--Spittlespat (talk) 21:18, 12 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

For English speakers, 'Sgt. Frog' is a more snappy and direct-to-the-point translation. Yes, 'Sgt. Keroro' is technically more accurate (something I've argued elsewhere) but as far as English speaking countries like England and America are concerned, the series is officially branded 'Sgt. Frog'.--HellCat86 (talk) 01:37, 13 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Also, keep in mind "kero" is the japanese form of "ribbit" (so even more technically, the show should be called Sgt. Ribbit, so thank God they didn't translate lterally) and frogs are the first thing you think of when you hear "Ribbit", thus making the title Sgt. Frog reasonable.CorpSunny (talk) 15:12, 9 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Episdoes

[edit]

Should someone edit the article about the sgt. frog's episdoe I mean the description is good, but there's a few blank spots and typos, it's ike a pattern episode one is filled with information and starting from like episdoe 55 he doesn't describe the episodes anymore and then the other episodes he describes and then it's balnk again! Should I help edit it?--Spittlespat (talk) 21:54, 13 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Translation of first opening song (ケロッ!とマーチ)

[edit]

For me I honestly think the correct translation is Kero! and March, which derives from ケロケロ kerokero (onomatopeia for a frog sound), と to - and, and マーチ māchi - march. An anon user keeps changing Kero to Ribbit, stating it's the translation from the English version. I'd recommend settling this matter now, we're blatantly violating WP:3RR. As for the anon, please give a citation as proof that it is really the translation. On a side note, if I'm correct, an alternate translation would be March with a Kero! --kazu (talk) 11:18, 24 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

this proof enough? picture from FUNimation Official Sgt. Frog videos--75.26.20.141 (talk) 15:17, 24 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The original title is Kero and March. Which means it is the correct one. Gune (talk) 01:50, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
yes and that one is stated on the romanji side of that translation, but the official english title "[from this picture" clearly says "Ribbit March", which means it stays Ribbit March--75.22.189.229 (talk) 02:21, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
By the way, is it the same as the Japanese one? kazu (talk) 04:50, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Well that is highly likely that is correct Japanese kanji, but only going by subs can go so far in striding for accuracy--75.22.189.229 (talk) 05:13, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
What I mean to say is, if the song is retained as the original and is still in Japanese? kazu (talk) 16:32, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
you mean seeing if the Kanji is the same right?--75.32.72.27 (talk) 17:32, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
No, is the same song used in the Japanese and English versions? Is it the same version as well? ダイノガイ千?!? · Talk⇒Dinoguy1000 18:09, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The correct title is still Kero. That is the original name which means it is the correct one. Gune (talk) 18:58, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

In this case, "correct" is very clearly spelled out in WP:MOS-AM, which states to use "official English names" wherever they are available. The official English name for this song is unambiguously "Ribbit March", so that's the name which gets used alongside the kanji and romaji in this article. ダイノガイ千?!? · Talk⇒Dinoguy1000 19:10, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

What I'm trying to point out to the anon is that if ケロッ!とマーチ is the same as Ribbit March, it is a very important case to consider. kazu (talk) 01:31, 27 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

there is a mistake about gundam in keroro gunso

[edit]

keroro gunso doesn't have the right to mention the gundam anime or make reference to it's scenes in the anime, they only have the rights the mention gunpla in keroro gunso. evangelion, dragon ball Z toy line are also a owned by bandai so i think they can be mention as well but seeing as gunpla is a lot more popular they haven't mention it, —Preceding unsigned comment added by Aykevin (talkcontribs) 05:50, 25 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Keroro (Flash series)

[edit]

I have a few small questions concerning the newest edition to the Keroro Gunsō / Sgt. Frog family, so if you would, please answer any you can! First, if anyone finds a sub of the episode, on youtube or anywhere really, please post the link below. Secondly, I'd like to know everyone's opinions on it before I watch it; I don't want to be disappointed, and reviews can help me to expect the worst! Lastly, I want to know if anyone will be adding a section about the new Keroro or if it will get a whole mew wikipage altogether. Thanks for your help! 15:58, 9 April 2014 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by CorpSunny (talkcontribs)
