Reptiliomorpha

[edit]

Changed "Reptilomorph" to the correct "Reptiliomorpha" so it would be linked properly. - JF —Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.120.244.109 (talk) 23:25, 23 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Trivia section

[edit]

Because trivia sections are discouraged, I've made some effort to remove the trivia section from this article by placing the facts in other sections. One more "trivia" item remains. -JF 129.120.244.109 02:26, 15 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

confusing climate wording

[edit]

From the climate section: "The climate is humid subtropical (Köppen: Cfa) with an extreme temperature deviation, but much of the time, the variation is always more and the warm weather prevails over the cold as the averages and the records show. Its subtropical location and south of the center of a large land mass bring occasional outbreaks even to a latitude and not very high altitude. The climate in this area is characterized by hot, humid summers and generally mild to cool winters, sometimes cold"

Ok. The humid subtropical climate part makes sense, but much of the rest of this is hard to understand.

Perhaps something like "The climate is humid subtropical (Köppen: Cfa), with greater seasonal variation than coastal locations in Texas belonging to the same climate zone. Winters are generally mild to cool but there are occasional outbreaks of winter weather." Vultur~enwiki (talk) 21:14, 21 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
