Perhaps a small section on male specific sexual jealousy is needed, relating to 'cuckholdry' (R.g.rooney25 (talk) 18:41, 31 January 2016 (UTC))
I agree that maybe a section on males jealousy could be useful. Explaining how they react to it, why they could get jealous (as there is much less parental investment for them), and also maybe adding a section on how to solve jealousy problems? By talking, communication with partner when thinking he or she is being unfaithful, understanding the reasons why etc? Also, I think the part explaining that women might get more jealous if the man is being unfaithful because they rely on him for resources and financial support could be modified, it is not exactly the case anymore. "The woman, however, frequently still relies on the male for resources. Even if she does not have a child, society, to some degree, still dictates that a man must support his wife financially." Further Content Suggestions
[edit]As recognised above, I think it would be useful to have a section relating to the strategies that might be used to deal with sexual jealousy and potentially infidelity itself. For example, are threats used? It would be valuable to know how/whether these strategies differ between men and women and how effective they are at solving jealousy issues. There is also currently a lack of sources cited in the article. This should be addressed in order to ensure reliability of the information being discussed. 123hs (talk) 21:57, 2 February 2016 (UTC)
Merger proposal
[edit]I propose that Sexual jealousy in humans be merged into Sexual jealousy. They both explain the same thing and could both do with a proper clean up. It is confusing having both pages. The page Sexual jealousy can encompass both humans and other animals in one location. Nicolehyare (talk) 17:32, 10 February 2016 (UTC)
