Unneeded article
[edit]I just noted that this article is essentially an essay and not needed when we have a Sexual desire and Intimate relationship article. Per WP:Content fork, some merging needs to take place here. Flyer22 Reborn (talk) 00:57, 2 December 2016 (UTC)
Then again, perhaps since this article is mostly about sexual matters, and the Sexual desire article is supposed to focus more so on sexual desire than on relationships, and since the Intimate relationship article is not just about sexual intimacy (but other forms of intimacy as well), having this article is better than merging parts of it. - I agree with your first comment that this article is unneeded. The scope of this article is redundant, making it a content fork. According to the history, it was written basically all at once by a user who edited nothing else in 2012. I do believe it should be merged, as there does appear to be worthwhile content. As for your second comment, any number of "X and Y" articles could theoretically be written, but we generally discuss how things relate to other things in singularly focused articles. -Crossroads- (talk) 23:02, 29 September 2019 (UTC)
Psychoanalysis
[edit]I don't understand why this is tagged as part of the psychoanalysis series. Psychoanalysis, or a psychoanalytic view of the topic, is not mentioned. 81.98.48.160 (talk) 22:36, 7 May 2019 (UTC)
