I propose this page be either expanded to include a worldwide perspective, or it be renamed to "Seventh-day Adventist summer camps in North America" or similar. Colin MacLaurin (talk) 09:39, 24 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
A comment was recently made, "This history may relate little to the youth camp program of Adventists. It relates mainly to their camp meeting program." Good point. "Camp meetings" are for all ages, whereas "summer camps" are designed for the young. I propose we keep both in the same page for now, but I will change the text to clarify the difference. I agree with the above, and would like to suggest that a separate page be created for world wide camp meetings. Leave this one for North American summer camps or expand to include world wide summer camps, since it's already mostly summer camps anyway. (jj (talk) 05:47, 22 September 2010 (UTC))[reply]
