Hello, I'm Cartoon network freak, and here's my review to your GAN:
- Lead
- a song by -> a song recorded by
- Spike Stent, it was -> Spike Stent, the track was; you've already used "it"
- 2012 by -> 2012 through
- Remove "Latin and Caribbean-tinged beats" -> it is no genre and it doesn't fit togethr with the other content
- Lyrically, the song -> Lyrically, "Settle Down"; you've already used "song"
- about confidence and about feeling good, adjusting yourself to unfamiliar circumstances -> about confidence and feeling good, with one of its subtopics being familiar circumstances
- other songs -> other recordings; you've already used "song"
- Some critics -> Some reviewers; you've already used "critics"
- fifth album Rock Steady, -> fifth studio album, Rock Steady (2001),
- Remove "particularly"
- Santigold songs -> the works of Santigold
- July 16, 2012. In it, -> July 16, 2012, which portrays
- convoy, which -> convoy that
- to perform the song -> to perform "Settle Down"
- It received -> The clip received
- praising the -> praising its
- lights and -> lights, and
- to do -> to shoot
- Background and release
- album Rock Steady -> album, Rock Steady
- hiatus to take a break to -> hiatus, in order to
- add year of the compilation in "()"
- The main reason to go into hiatus was that, in early 2003, their lead singer Gwen Stefani started work on her 1980s-inspired new wave/dance-pop music side project, under which she has released two solo albums — Love. Angel. Music. Baby. on November 23, 2004 and The Sweet Escape on December 5, 2006 ->The main reason the band took a break from their music career was of Gwen Stefani's solo work; she had released two albums — Love. Angel. Music. Baby. (2004) and The Sweet Escape (2006).
- Remove "successful"; fancruft
- began initial work -> commenced work
- 2008, after Gwen Stefani wrapped the tour behind her second solo album, The Sweet Escape. -> 2008, following Stefani's promotional tour of her second solo record.
- This section is too excesively about the album; try to short it out
- Outcome
I've reviewed a select few sections, but as you can see, there are a substantial amount of basic errors. However, I think the first step would be to request the article be copy-edited, and then even request someone to help you improve the article (however, I'd discourage asking me as I'd quite like to re-review this when it's been worked on, and if I've worked on it, I can't review it!)
