[edit]"It was criticized by UCLA nutritionist Dr. John Ford." The cited article doesn't criticize the diet, it criticizes Roberts' approach to publishing it. I suggest that we reword this. --149.126.106.19 (talk) 10:07, 30 April 2014 (UTC)
Emeritus
[edit]Is this guy really notable? If you are going to change him back to being a professor emeritus please cite your source (other than claims he has forwarded through the media).
A phone call to his department verified that he is a professor emeritus. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.139.162.236 (talk) 17:40, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
Picking this back up, the Emeritus claim needs to be confirmed. On some sites Roberts himself says merely that he was "formerly" a UCB prof. Why would he say formerly if he was actually Emeritus. And it's unusual, although not unheard of, for an Emeritus to be working somewhere else and not retired. Emeritus is a significant title of some status (and old codgerness). If Roberts is Emeritus, there needs to be more than an anonymous note that someone phoned his old department. 70.114.180.201 (talk) 05:21, 13 March 2013 (UTC)
A UC Berkeley publication called him emeritus.See: http://newscenter.berkeley.edu/2010/07/15/happiness/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2602:306:BCCD:4080:B8A1:7A68:EF64:B1E (talk) 14:05, 20 March 2013 (UTC)
That article certainly has the Berkeley stamp, but if that's all that can be found, then given how substantial a claim of "Emeritus" is, it -- a mere newsletter and not a statement by Berkeley proper -- is a pretty weak set of evidence. Letting it stand for now, but it would be good if there was something more substantial. 70.114.180.201 (talk) 15:27, 24 March 2013 (UTC)
