Brother
Don't forget to mention his brother who's also on TV in a sketch comedy show, albeit it not a very funny one. --Feitclub 04:15, Mar 10, 2005
Picture
I really doubt the guy who posted that picture actually took it, I would contest its status as public domain if I knew how. Star Ghost 04:18, 4 July 2006 (UTC)
- I just read and found out how, tagged it and justified why in the picture page. Star Ghost 04:29, 4 July 2006 (UTC)
Celebrity Poker Showdown
I don't think an entire section on the results of eight or so seasons of Celebrity Poker Showdown belongs on this bio page. I removed it an added a short reference on his win on the third season. I think this article's first section (is it called an 'intro section'?) needs to be rewritten, preferably by someone who knows more about him than I do. KyleGoetz 23:35, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
adding multiple photos
I'm new to this and I'm not sure how to add multiple photos instead of just changing the main photo, as I have many more photos of Seth from his recent performance here (not that I would post them all), any help would be great —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Greenert (talk • contribs) 01:40, 9 April 2007 (UTC).
Career Entry Edits
I moved info about Meyers' movie credits to the non-SNL section and added a line about his hosting of the Webby Awards. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.80.55.210 (talk) 00:35, 10 June 2009 (UTC)
jewish?
The article says he is jewish but I am from bedford NH and don't believe he is jewish because I would have seen his family's name at the temple (like of seen of adam sandler) does anyone have a citation —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.69.145.180 (talk) 00:51, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
- His first, middle and last names are all names that are disproportionately common for Jews. Also you dont have to be a member of a temple to be a Jew. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.244.47.196 (talk) 04:47, 4 October 2008 (UTC)
- He is Jewish. I added a source. Stusutcliffe (talk) 03:12, 22 October 2008 (UTC)
- LOL are you kidding me! Not all Jews know each other! Just because YOU haven't seen him at YOUR Temple, doesnt mean he ain't Jewsish! Stop denying his heritage! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 134.159.111.98 (talk) 08:14, 15 June 2010 (UTC)
- Don't ask me how I know this, but he's not Jewish. I don't believe there are any reliable sources out there that say he is. All Hallow's Wraith (talk) 07:50, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
- I just saw him do a show in NYC where he repeatdly noted he is not Jewish. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Wendyisaswendydoes (talk • contribs) 09:58, 23 March 2011 (UTC)
Roasts?
Seth Myers was at the roast, with President Barack Obama, and Donald Trump. I must have missed read about Seth Myers roasting Donald Trump? Spikekicknav (talk) 22:17, 1 May 2011 (UTC)
Son of Stephen Colbert
on 5/2/2011 the entry said that Meyers' father was Stephen Colbert. I am assuming this is another instance of the colbert/Wikipedia pranks, along with the supposed poplation growth of elephants. Correspondents Dinner
Seth was the comedian for one, I believe this years in 2010 and did a pretty god job I recall. This is a significant milestone in his career that should be mentioned. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Timmmahhhh (talk • contribs) 05:08, 18 September 2011 (UTC)

Seth Meyers will be hosting the 75th Golden Globe Awards in 2018. Can you guys add this to his filmography television section. https://ew.com/tv/2017/11/23/seth-meyers-host-2018-golden-globes/ 2600:1700:D560:BF00:D477:D89E:823B:BB18 (talk) 19:25, 23 November 2017 (UTC)

In the Saturday Night Live column, we should add that he is the third longest-running cast member in the show's history, right behind Darrell Hammond and Kenan Thompson. Zaigb000 (talk) 03:27, 17 December 2017 (UTC)
- @Zaigb00: Not done. Well, this is annoying. I can't add this because I couldn't find a source for it. (Wikipedia can't use itself as a source so Saturday Night Live cast members, which is itself mostly unsourced, won't work.) The source would need to be reliable and, since this wouldn't have been true until Meyers got passed by Kenan Thompson, it'll have to have been published in the last year or so. CityOfSilver 16:01, 17 December 2017 (UTC)
- Well, here are three sources: https://www.nbc.com/late-night-with-seth-meyers/credits/host/seth-meyers, https://www.nbc.com/saturday-night-live/credits/credit/season-43/kenan-thompson, https://www.nbc.com/saturday-night-live/credits/credit/season-43/darrell-hammond/. They all say how long they've been on the ahow. - Zaigb000 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Zaigb000 (talk • contribs) 18:48, 17 December 2017 (UTC)
Birth of Second Child
On 4/8/18 his wife Alexi Ashe gave birth to a boy Axel Strahl. The New York Police Department helped deliver the baby as Myers and his wife could not make it to the hospital. Hobeauken (talk) 05:48, 10 April 2018 (UTC)
2019 tweet
How about a mention of the unfunny tweet mocking people that were killed by Illegal Aliens? https://twitter.com/LateNightSeth/status/1082822048987205633
I mean talking about his special needs kids is cool and all but this was a pretty big thing.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.72.40.86 (talk) 03:44, 11 January 2019 (UTC)
- Has it received significant coverage by reliable sources (not just tabloids or outrage media)? -Jason A. Quest (talk) 04:01, 11 January 2019 (UTC)
Origin of Adelaide's names
A recent change added the claim: "Adelaide Ruth is named after her two great grandmothers, Adelaide being Seth’s maternal grandmother and Ruth being Alexi’s paternal grandmother." (The actual added text contained some typos that I have fixed.) This addition was unsourced, but even if a source were provided, I don't think it's sufficiently notable to be included. The article mentions the origin of Axel's middle name as having a connection to The Holocaust, a significant historical event with impact on Seth's family, but the origin of Adelaide's names is, at it stands, merely trivia. I have therefore deleted this sentence. If and editor would like to include the information, please provide a source and explain why it is important. Smcpeak74 (talk) 03:13, 30 December 2021 (UTC)
Hot dog stand
Meyers has stated himself on several occasions that he has never run a hot dog stand. The source cited for the claim that he did ([1]) may not be reliable. Anyone have insight on whether this may be the case? The article doesn't cite any sources, primary or otherwise, and "celebrity net worth" types of sites are notoriously unreliable. WPscatter t/c 00:30, 16 October 2022 (UTC)
- I have removed the claim, as all sources I can find are predated by this edit in 2018 that added the claim to the wiki article. I think it's a case of circular referencing and until a primary source or a secondary one that predates the edit is found, I propose that it should not be readded. (I mistyped in my edit summary saying the sources predate the edit, when I meant the other way around.) WPscatter t/c 05:25, 16 October 2022 (UTC)
