I'll review this one as well.--AlexandraIDV 11:22, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox

  • Alen Ladavac, Jonas Kyratzes and Verena Kyratzes are unsourced (OK to source the game's credits)
     Done using the credits. IceWelder [] 15:12, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • You mention an arcade version in the development section, should this not be in the infobox (and lead) as well?
Not really: Most details about this version are unknown/unclear. Based on the source alone, I cannot say whether it was ever released. The date was only inferred from the site's metadata. Instead of including it up here, I amended the phrasing the "Development and release" section.
Fun fact: That about page on Croteam's website was the only Google Search result for the version before I added it here. IceWelder [] 15:12, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
    Oh, well then!--AlexandraIDV 21:01, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Lead

  • would add "game" in the first sentence
     Done. IceWelder [] 15:12, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • If you want to use the acronym VR in the lead, please add (VR) after the first mention of virtual reality
     Done. IceWelder [] 15:12, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Because you use the phrase "including bosses", it is already clear that there are multiple enemy types, so you can strike the word "various"
     Done. IceWelder [] 15:12, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • The Last Hope was developed by Croteam VR, fine to mention that the division was established after VR experiments, but you don't need to repeat that they are the developers, since this is already mentioned in the first sentence
     Done. IceWelder [] 15:12, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Mention that HTC Vive and Oculus Rift are VR headsets
     Done, though not linked per MOS:SEAOFBLUE. IceWelder [] 15:12, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Gameplay

  • Is matchmaking the only way of playing in multiplayer? ie, you can't invite a friend to a game?
You can even play with two headsets locally but no post-release source covers this. I rephrased sentence a bit. IceWelder [] 15:12, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Development and release

  • added rudimentary support for both VR headsets to The Talos Principle. Would suggest "to their game The Talos Principle" to make the connection stronger. Additionally, the timeline is unclear here - was Talos Principle still in development at this point, or was VR support added as a post-release update?
Done the addition. I don't think this support was ever released publicly. A full VR conversion of the game was released as The Talos Principle VR (a separate game) later in 2017. IceWelder [] 15:12, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
    Okay, got it--AlexandraIDV 21:01, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • since good games, such as The Last Hope, strike "such as The Last Hope", we can't call a game objectively good in Wikipedia's voice. Also clarify that "good games would sell themselves" is Kotlar's opinion
  • Variable Rate Supersampling is tech jargon, can you add a brief explanation of what it is in the article? If there is a WP article with a more in-depth explanation of it, link that, too

Reception

  • Seems fine

References

  • This is not a GA criterion, and will not affect the outcome of this review, but I will mention it anyway: in some references, you list publishers as works - Autodesk is the company publishing "PART I - Serious Sam VR", Croteam is the company publishing "SSVR: The Last Hope Gets a Release Date as Lead Designer, Davor Hunski, Recaps Early Access – Part 1" - and for "This is Real – Croteam", you have HTC Vive listed as the author.
Done: Looking at the definition of the |website= parameter, I think you are right. I changed all cases to |publisher=. I used "HTC Vive" on the one YouTube source because it was uploaded on the channel for the product. IceWelder [] 15:12, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Looks pretty good! I'll put this on hold for seven days - ping me when you have addressed the issues I brought up or if you have any questions.--AlexandraIDV 11:54, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Alexandra IDV: Thanks for your review. It is always a pleasure working with you. I made the requested changes and left some per-note comments as usual. Regards, IceWelder [] 15:12, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you! I will be happy to promote this to GA now.--AlexandraIDV 21:01, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
