What is going on with this page?
There is think like this was the favorite hang out of so and so but not all at once, that would be messy! What dickhead wrote this shit? This page is not an encyclopedia entry how do you delete this crap?

I'll stop short of NFDing this article (it's borderline in my mind) - but I'd be in favor of deletion. Can I write an article like this about my restaurant? This is a vanity page for a business. Bonehed (talk) 20:56, 4 July 2008 (UTC)

This page is NOT up to Wikipedia standards and is an advertisement plain and simple. It needs to be deleted or COMPLETELY reworked.

Reverting
This article is constantly being bombed by the owners of Serendipity. The language is always the same tacky advert garbage. The citations in the latest version consisted of nothing more than links to external websites that repeated advertising material originating from the company itself. Serendipity is most famous for two things, and two things only: unveiling the most expensive dessert, worthy of coverage by the NYT, and in the same month being shut down for a massive infestation.
It's interesting that on the first page of Google none of the infestation articles appear, even though they appear in prominent and credible sources. In their place are link-rich websites that anyone can contribute to--sounds suspiciously like a case of Google-burying.
Keep your eyes peeled, guys. Serendipity is persistent.
