Bugarštica from 1497
The sentence "The earliest surviving record of a Serb epic poem is a ten verse fragment of a bugarštica song from 1497 about the imprisonment of Sibinjanin Janko (John Hunyadi) by Đurađ Branković.[3][4]" ([1]) is removed because the claim to be a Serbian poem is controversial because lacks neutrality, scientifically is highly dubious because it is evidently false as it does not bear scientific scrutiny. For the criticism and analysis of the poem see Petar Šimunović's "Sklavunske naseobine u južnoj Italiji i naša prva zapisana bugaršćica" (1984), and additionally Maja Bošković-Stulli's "Bugaršćice" (2004).--Miki Filigranski (talk) 00:34, 16 May 2019 (UTC) Blocked sock: Crovata. - No. This source used in the article, authored by Else Mundal and removed as dubious without any justification confirms that 1497 poem belongs to Serbian epic poetry. If there are some Croatian sources that attempt to Croatinize this poetry, they should be presented as additional text, if they are indeed reliable, without removing original text about poem that describes "an eable flew in circles over Smederevo city". --Antidiskriminator (talk) 14:39, 16 May 2019 (UTC)
- Miki Filigranski your attempt to remove text cited by multiple sources published in 1992 and 2008 with work published in 1984 and using "outdated" excuse for your edit is unacceptable. Your bold edit is reverted. Attempt to reach consensus instead edit warring to push your POV.--Antidiskriminator (talk) 14:46, 16 May 2019 (UTC)
:::We cannot also discuss Bugarštica article on this talk page. Your revert at Bugarštica is unsubstantiated, disruptive, borderline vandalic because your reverted a major edit without a single fault, which has nothing to do with pushing "my POV" as there's no "my POV", while the bold removal is based on scientific and reliable sources which bring neutrality to the topic. The sources you mentioned cite a specific viewpoint and argumentation (by Pantić) which has a (Serbian) nationalistic claim which cannot pass scientific scrutiny. Nowhere these sources deny a relationship with Serbian epic poetry cycle yet the argumentation that the long verse, this poem, and its performers arrived from inner Serbian lands and were Serbian. Your argument about "Croatinization of this poetry" is a fraud. Instead of reading provided sources, accepting scientific criticism and progress you deny its credibility and reliability without proper rationale, basing it on your own personal opinion, as well violate WP:GOODFAITH. In short, the removal of this sentence claim does not excuse your revert of a major edit. Only because the information is verifiable does not mean it is true and needs inclusion ignoring WP:NEUTRAL and WP:WEIGHT. On the other hand, if you wish for these soruces to be included then they need to be done in a neutral manner, which was not the case before. I will ignore WP:BRD in this case because of your lack of proper substantiation and will revert the major edit while including the removed sources. --Miki Filigranski (talk) 18:36, 16 May 2019 (UTC) Blocked sock: Crovata. :::I am currently checking the sources, and the source you mentioned above was not authored by Mundal yet edited, as the pg. 98 belongs to the chapter "Oral and Writen Art Forms in Serbian Medieval Literature" authored by Sonja Petrović.--Miki Filigranski (talk) 18:50, 16 May 2019 (UTC)Blocked sock: Crovata.
