Contesting deletion...
[edit]I have thoroughly reviewed the Wikipedia Notability policy.
Sensei meets criteria 6 for musicians and ensembles possessing not only one, but TWO members of a once notable and nationally touring band. Inspection 12 released 2 albums on Fat Wreck Chords subsidery Honest Don's, toured 3 times for the albums, and gained notable recognition. The band's next album "Get Rad" has been released by Takeover Records in the US and internationally distributed by Floppy Cow records. Please see Inspection 12 for full bio.
What must I do to get this deletion notice of my page? I wouldn't suggest using a redirect, considering Inspection 12 is still an active band and fans interested in learning about the band would not always want to be immediately guided to Sensei's article.
If you read WP:MUSIC, it will tell you the exact requirements for a band to be considered notable. Then, if your band really is notable, you can add the information to the article that makes notability clear, and the article will be saved. If you can't show that it's notable, though, assurances that the band will be famous sometime soon will not prevent deletion. -FisherQueen 21:43, 24 November 2006 (UTC)

They meet criteria 6 for musicians and ensembles. Now, what must I do to have this tag removed? This is beginning to be very frustrating.
As I said on your talk page- all you have to do is explain how the band meets the notability criteria- specifically, with cited sources. Then you just wait- the next administrator to go through the list of pages recommended for deletion will read the page, see that your page clearly shows that the page is notable (if it does show that), and then will remove the tag. No big deal- I've had to do it for two pages I've created, too. -FisherQueen 23:29, 24 November 2006 (UTC)
