A lip and a lisp are two entirely different things
The Anome recently reverted McBugger's edit to the article, justifying it with 'not a lip'. However, 'Ermagherd' is, in fact, the imitation of a lisp. I believe the edit should be re-reverted. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.66.77.160 (talk) 12:27, 16 July 2013 (UTC)
- No, it's not. It's an imitation of a speech impediment caused by wearing a dental retainer. R-colored vowels (pronouncing myth like mirth, for example) have nothing to do with lisps (pronouncing miss like myth, for example). --Florian Blaschke (talk) 02:26, 22 October 2014 (UTC)
