Hi:

Please make a correction. Senkele Sanctuary is not near Ambo. This is a very embarassing blunder. You just can't copy someone's mistake.

Senkele plains is located south of Lake Shala. It is accessed through the Shashemene - Sodo (or Arba Minch) road. The entrance to the park is about 5 kilometer from the small but triving town of Aje along this road. Ambo is way too north in the mountains - hardly a Swayne's heartbeest territory!
