Senior sport → Masters sport – Masters is the more common term around the world, for most sports. See the articles on Masters athletics, Masters swimming etc. Also 'senior' can refer to anyone over 18 (ie not a 'junior'). Craobh àrd (talk) 17:07, 28 October 2024 (UTC) — Relisting. - Delete and redirect to Masters athletics. Article has a grand total of one citation, which refers to "masters sport" and not "senior sport". Dubious usefulness. See WP:CFORK. 162 etc. (talk) 20:35, 28 October 2024 (UTC)
- Athletics is specifically running/track and field. What about any other sports? ie swimming, cycling, golf, tennis etc. Craobh àrd (talk) 02:09, 29 October 2024 (UTC)
- That's true. I've instead made a paragraph at Sport#Participation; redirect to that. 162 etc. (talk) 16:58, 29 October 2024 (UTC)

- 'Comment "Senior sport" is ambiguous. It used to refer to adult sport (several of our articles on older topics are named that way or use the term that way in their text), being the opposite of junior. "masters sport" is experiences sportspeople sport; there is also senior citizen sport. ... a disambiguation page should exist if we have articles on those topics -- 65.92.246.77 (talk) 04:14, 6 November 2024 (UTC)
- Such articles do not currently exist, which is why I recommended retargeting to the main Sport article, per above. 162 etc. (talk) 22:05, 8 November 2024 (UTC)
