Enquiry relating to legitimacy of Source

[edit]

I have noticed you @Kautilya3: cited several paragraphs solely based on a book written by Haokip (District Status for Sadar Hills) while there are tons of sources that contradicts the contents of the source therefore can be review as hoax and unorthodox claims. Also I have noticed in the Languages section as per 2011 census doesn't mention any groups speaking Kuki-Zo language but there is such group in the demographics section which doesn't make sense at all. 103.190.10.20 (talk) 17:35, 23 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It is a peer-reviewed journal article, and counts as a reliable source for historical matters. If you have other information from equally good quality sources please present their views here, and we can discuss.
The meaning of "Kuki-Zo" is described in the footnote [b]. -- Kautilya3 (talk) 19:52, 23 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Kautilya3: A peer- reviewed articles are often flawed and debatable and I wonder how you still claim it as "historically correct". The source is fabricated and biased written by the writer to promote his own interest. As I have asked you before but went to deaf ears let me ask you again. If as per the census of 2011 there are demographics (Kuki-Zo tribe) that reside in this district, what is the percentage of that language being spoken as per the census?
Keep in mind: Old Kukis and Kuki Zo are two different groups. 103.190.10.20 (talk) 18:56, 14 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Your question was already answered by reference to the footnote [b]. You haven't said whether you read it or failed to understand it. If you want to raise issues with the source please take it to WP:RSN. End of discussion. -- Kautilya3 (talk) 23:55, 14 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Its clear you lack comprehension skills and unable to understand basic English other than your editing skills in wiki. The footnotes didn't cite sources where it shows the percentage of Kuki-zo language being spoken in this district but rather explain which tribes are under "Kuki-Zo". Would request you to refrain from editing complicated articles based on personal preference which can lead to violence and cost human lives by writing false claims @Kautilya3:. 103.190.10.20 (talk) 17:00, 15 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The source is citation [24], which was cited in the header of the population coilumn. Kautilya3 (talk) 22:40, 15 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
