[edit]The article contains too many science related words that most of the readers on Wikipedia do not know. Please describe the article in layman's terms because upon reading this, I still have no clue what you are talking about. Not everyone in the world is a doctor of modern physics. --Cheers, Mazeau (talk) 15:06, 16 August 2009 (UTC)
- I've greatly expanded the article and given ample explanations. Still, I'm not an expert at all, and would appreciate any expansion. In particular, an explanation of the "bistable" nature, and what that term means would be great. I also don't understand exactly how the laser "turns on" when it receives a signal, and how input/output works in the "RAM", and I don't feel like working through the technical literature right now. Further technical details are welcome as long as they are explained and referenced. Danski14(talk) 04:48, 19 August 2009 (UTC)
