Anti-cancer effects of cadmium?

Cd is an effective anti-tumor agent when given at non-toxic doses. Cd can inhibit the formation of chemically induced and spontaneously occurring tumors in the liver and lung. Cd can inhibit of the growth and metastasis of human lung carcinoma cells. Cd can have both carcinogenic and anti-carcinogenic effects.
