The following section has been added:It is said that he obtained the khanship by bribing vizier Kologi. His kalga and nureddin were his brother Selyamet and his cousin Safa. There are several problems with this addition. In the official list of viziers, there is nobody named Kologi. Also what is a kalga? Besides The second sentence needs repairing. I'll call the editor Nedim Ardoğa (talk) 16:47, 2 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
1. Vizier Kologi is from Howorth,1880, p 559. He follows Hammar-Purgstall, Geschichte Der Chane,1856 (old and inaccurate). Purgstall says that a dervish named Sheikh Ibraham offered the khanship to anyone who would pay him 1000 ducats, which Selim did. Kologi is not in Purgstall, so it is probably Howorth's guess that the dervish was the vizier's agent. 2. Kalga and nureddin were second and third after the khan. They are in all khan articles, but we do not have an article explaining them. Benjamin Trovato (talk) 02:08, 3 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
