Merge request
[edit]This is the exact same band as Self Defense Family, the only difference is the title of the page and some of the content, so they should probably be merged. --Sixthchild (talk) 15:04, 31 January 2013 (UTC)
Those are not the titles of those splits. They are just goofy names they gave them on their myspace. Clearly the joke went over someone's head.
Requested move
[edit]- The following discussion is an archived discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the move request was: Consensus to move, but a histmerge is not possible due to WP:Parallel histories. I've made End of a Year into a redirect to Self Defense Family. Any further development should take place at Self Defense Family. If someone has the time they can study the history of End of a Year to see if there is valuable information that can be copied (with attribution) into the target article. The history of the old article is being kept under the redirect, which preserves attribution. The redirect at End of a Year will have to be kept indefinitely. End of a Year → Self Defense Family – It looks like when End of a Year changed their name to Self Defense Family, a user copied and pasted all content from End of a Year to Self Defense Family and the two pages have existed simultaneously for some time now. Self Defense Family should be deleted and End of a Year should move into the name. Fezmar9 (talk) 06:03, 19 February 2014 (UTC)
- Rename per nom, and do a history merge --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 21:50, 27 February 2014 (UTC)

Note on the move
[edit]I was able to move the Talk page but not the article. In practice it seems that most of the material is already in Self Defense Family. There have been some cut-and-pastes and some attempts to redirect in both directions at various times. Please leave End of a Year as a redirect from now on. The redirect at End of a Year must be kept for attribution and should not be deleted. EdJohnston (talk) 03:40, 18 March 2014 (UTC)
