This page may be difficult to source. I can find no sources on point in Google Books or Scholar (the search does return several hits for the V sign gesture). Google does, however, return a couple of passing mentions of a "fighter's victory clasp" or the like, giving some hope that reliable sources may exist. Is it still used in a serious manner? I always see it in the form of parody or used in comedic situations. I also seem to recall that it was a staple of early television/film. Viriditas (talk) 12:42, 13 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
