Selective color: Pop culture

[edit]

The Pop culture section does not read from a neutral POV. The author needs to rework the entry in the encyclopedic voice with cited sources that demonstrate this particular POV is the predominant view in the industry. Mactographer 22:04, 12 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Changed image

[edit]

As both images in this article were of the same subject (wedding), I have changed one of them to an alternative image which i feel better illustrates the key principles of selective colour. Any objections can be discussed at my talk page.

Your talk page is too difficult to find. Leave a bread trail. Even your replacement image link is broken. As for replacing the more interesting image with an esthetically vapid snap shot ... I suppose it illustrates the principle of selective color in a dry and clinical manner, but I'm not convinced it's superior by any definition. However, I will not contest or reverse the replacement.

Only digital

[edit]

This article only mentioned the digital method, I think the hand colouring method should be mentioned as well.

SilverFast?

[edit]

I don't see the relevance of a plug to the SilverFast product. Wxidea (talk) 05:10, 18 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Looks like product placement to me. See this: Tannenmann's contributions He's been adding references to SilverFast everywhere. I'm removing this now. Fuzzykiller (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 21:57, 31 May 2011 (UTC).[reply]
